@Genki_JPN ’Near future’ and ‘won’t be long’ have taken on a completely different meaning lately, but at least we know we haven’t seen anything from it yet because they’re optimizing it so it can launch day-one as a multiplatform title.
Naoki Hamaguchi confirms development of FF7 Remake part 3 is progressing very smoothly and is already playable. He says they are in the final push and it won’t be long until they can share more!
“Development of the third installment is progressing very smoothly, and we’re almost exactly on schedule with the milestones we set at the beginning of the project. The game is already in a playable state, and right now, we’re in the final push phase, refining and building up the experience.
We’re at the stage where the quality improves day by day, and each time we play it, the scenery feels different, so it’s genuinely exciting. I think it won’t be too long before we’re able to share some kind of update with everyone.”

Hi @NateTheHate2 with so many people asking questions I'm curious; has someone actually asked you a videogame question outside of the internet (as in random people who recognized you)
A new State of Play airs February 12.
Tune in for 60+ minutes of news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe: play.st/4aEMiwU
@ZZZ_EN How is that i do half damage on the Thrall as Banyue than as Seed who’s elemental is weakened (lightning) on this particular deadly assault?
It’s only skill issue?
@DashingDavidYT He did not promise anything for TGA, he said: “in the near future”
Square might announce a stream later in january or something.
I’m extremely disappointed too though
Tbh this shit would’ve been avoided if Hamaguch just said “we’ll talk about part 3 early 2026”. He was intentionally getting people hyped for TGA… to deliver nothing.
@yadspi@JezCorden I mean it looks different, but it will be the same outcome after all
For example: *spoiler alert* :) Aerith dies anyway
That is why we shouldn’t judge the parts without seeing the conclusion
