PLAYER #002 Alex Johnston has been confirmed as the second player signed to the PNG Chiefs ✍️

🐬 Jamayne Isaako | CTW | $678,600 📊 77 PPG 💪 Healthy ✅ Try-scoring role 🎯 26/28 goal-kicking 🤝 Better ball with Trai Fuller 🌂 Elite bye coverage 😶🌫️ POD play 🗓️ 5/6 in QLD 🔒 Set and forget 📈 Upside Jamayne Isaako is quietly putting together a strong season at 77ppg and with his health looking good and high scoring nature of today’s NRL, the SuperCoach output is following. Five tries in eight games is pretty standard for him, but the dead eye dick goal kicking is a huge plus. He’s only missed two all season, which is giving you around 14 extra points a game and creating a strong floor. The key with Isaako has always been health. When he’s fit, the work rate is big, the tackle busts come, and the explosiveness athleticism leads to ample attack. Right now, that’s exactly what we’re seeing, with around 19 runs/game over the last month. The combination with Trai Fuller looks like a genuine plus as well. Fuller’s running threat is forcing defenders to commit and once he gets eyes in, Isaako is getting early ball with space. We saw that on the weekend with the try double. Then you look at the bye coverage & the fact that they barely leave QLD in the next couple of months - they only miss one game between now & Round 21 & play all major byes. That’s about as good as it gets. The matchups in those major bye rounds stack up nicely too with Canberra leaking massive SC points, Roosters down Origin players & Newcastle potentially the same. The BE of 80 means there’s no urgency, so you could wait. But as always, I’m a firm believer in getting ahead of the curve. I’m expecting him to be a staple for supercoaches over the bye period but given the Dolphins have the bye in RD13, he will be an awkward trade-in RD12. My theory is that you can lock him in early with a great matchup this week, a couple of solid scores the following fortnight then focus your origin trades elsewhere. He’s probably not the type you’re buying expecting huge scores every week, but he’s one of those CTWs that can give you solid output consistently with potential upside. For me, that combination of floor, upside and elite bye coverage makes him a very strong POD play heading into the Origin period. #NRLSuperCoach #NRLDolphinsStorm

🐓 Nawaqanitawase | CTW | $690,400 📈 Primed BE 36 👥 10% owned 🔥 3RA 80 🎯 Bat-backs + work rate upside ✅ Right edge Roosters stack 📅 Strong schedule ☀️ Day games incoming (ANZAC😍) Our very own code-hopper Marky Mark is starting to show that form again that had him in a Kangaroos jersey for the Ashes and outside last week’s suggested weapon, “ROBbed” Toia, he’s up for some serious SuperCoach output, scoring in many ways. Did you see that NRL Stats are paying the bat-backs off bombs now with try assists? This is something which looks a pure addition to last years scoring for him.. On top of that, his work rate is back where it needs to be the last couple of weeks. The small negative so far is that he’s largely put the offload away, but it looks like it’s beginning to tidy his game up. That’s always been the knock - trying to do too much. If he picks his moments, whether it’s offloads or chip and chases, he’s SuperCoach gold. So he’s on that right edge in a Roosters side that’s starting to click, outside Cherry-Evans, with an incredible SuperCoach stack to his inside including Rob Toia and Siua Wong. It’s a very appealing edge to be buying into. Only three tries in five games which is solid, but probably below par for him, and when you look at the run coming up: Knights, Dragons, Broncos, Titans, Cowboys there’s no game there where you wouldn’t back him in to score. I mentioned last week that the Roosters were primed coming off the bye after a slow start, and this feels like the stretch where they make a move. Started nicely last week (how unlucky was it for Rob & Mark) but this week especially sets up nicely. Knights are banged up, Sunday arvo, dry track, Allianz. There’s no nice way to say it, they’re getting belt. Perfect conditions for him to cash in. With Mark it’s always just a matter of timing. Season-long he’ll be fine, but if you catch him on the right run he can go big, and this looks like that run. For me, now’s the time to jump on. @UpsideSC data says Favourable Forecast but I would counter that with an elite if not 🔫GUN forecast with the amount of injuries and the state of the next couple of teams they come up against. I think he’s a very strong buy. #NRLSuperCoach #NRLRoostersKnights #SuperCoachCounsel
