Today we held another open day as part of @WirralCouncil trail blazer programme, supporting young people from Wirral who are not in education or employment. We operate this provision in collaboration with @DWPgovuk, Career Connect and Wirral Borough Council.

NLB is proud to have be commissioned by @WirralLearning to deliver CSCS training to local residents. Fully funded places are available for Wirral residents aged 19+ who are unemployed, providing the opportunity to gain a CSCS Green Card through @GQAQuals . admin@nlb-cic.co.uk.

This week we are training 10 young people as part of our funded partnership with @MerseyPolice NLB works with people aged 16-25 and has forged strong partnerships with Wirral referrers and progression organisations for employment and further education. admin@nlb-cic.co.uk

Today we held an open day for our Young Persons Programme, funded by @MerseyPolice to support young people out of education and employment into construction pathways. We had 15 Wirral residents sign up, and they will start education with us next week.

Yesterday we have held an open day and filled our next two plastering courses. It was great to have two females from the construction sector in attendance who will be undertaking the training. For more information on our plastering training contact admin@nlb-cic.co.uk

Our latest group of plastering learners have now finished the course, with employment opportunities at the end. They all receive a photographic portfolio of their work and a toolkit to start their employment. Our next course is booked up and starts soon. admin@nlb-cic.co.uk

Through our partnership with @DWP we held an open day & filled our next two plastering courses. This offering is very popular & we look forward to welcoming more unemployed people. We now offer fenestration, wider construction & plastering training with new courses coming soon.

Our skills Bootcamp has commenced with learners undertaking their fenestration training this week. NLB is funded by @LpoolCityRegion to skill unemployed people aged 19+ within construction and support them into employment. For more information contact admin@nlb-cic.co.uk

Our second group of learners are undertaking our new plastering training, funded by @DWP. We deliver this to people aged 18+ on universal credit, allowing them to gain their CSCS cards, and providing them with their own toolkit at the end. admin@nlb-cic.co.uk

This week we started our new plastering training, funded & supported by @DWP 8 learners have completed week 1, covering 5 modules. Our practical plastering facility provides hands on experience to learn. All learners leave our programme with their own tool kit & PPE.

We’ve had a very busy January so far at NLB, with lots of people supported in our centre through our public funding streams of DWP, Merseyside Police and Liverpool Combined Authority. A great and busy start to 2025! We can't wait to share more with you soon.

Merry Christmas, from the NLB team! 🎄 Today is our last working day in the NLB offices. We’re wishing everyone a lovely festive season celebrating with your nearest and dearest ❤️⠀

Wehave been working with 13 young people, not in education or training, in collaboration with @MerseyPolice, @DWP and @connectmycareer to provide CSCS card training and short H&S courses. We are pleased to report that all attendees have passed their CSCS!

Yesterday we held an open day for our next skills Bootcamp and the next group will be starting their education with us soon. NLB is proud to be funded by @LpoolCityRegion to deliver training, leading to employment in Merseyside for people aged 19+ years.

Our police-funded group are ready to start education next week. It’s great that the police have identified this community need and are funding NLB to engage and skill young local people currently out of education and employment. #liverpoolemployers #NEETs #liverpoolcareers
