@EricLDaugh @CoachForGov Question is will Tuberville be more beneficial for America as Alabama Governor or US Senator from Alabama. Why do I think he’d better serve America as US Senator?

@deannkh10 Did we elect him because he was a football coach and a nice guy? His political record is garbage.

It looks like Tommy Tuberville will be the next Governor of Alabama. We will miss him as Senator but I think he’ll make a great Governor.

Beware the empathy exploit. Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow). For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.

My nervous system is cooked. Can’t get out of survival mode. Even the smallest problems result in an immediate physical and mental response. And it’s not good. Not sure how long this can go on. I don’t seem to have the energy to fix any of it. My give a fuck is gone.

@mirandadevine This is an about the 10th post I’ve seen to that paints a decrease underage drinking as a negative. Truly bizarre what we become.

People are more mad at Gillis and Hinchcliffe because of black jokes than they are at Chelsea Handler actually having a private intimate dinner with Epstein after he was already convicted of sex trafficking! We are a nation of retards govern by psychopaths!

@RWMaloneMD @CIASpox Strange comments from a department that depends on congress for budget allocation. I guess the CIA isn’t worried about biting the hand that feeds them. Peculiar.

@CIASpox The CIA is now openly admitting that they control what Congress can investigate and report on, not the other way around...

The Committee acted in bad faith by subpoenaing an Agency officer for testimony today without notifying CIA, despite having already obtained closed-door testimony from the individual previously. The witness testifying today is not appearing as a whistleblower in pursuit of the truth, but instead in response to the subpoena issued by Chairman Paul. This proceeding amounts to nothing more than dishonest political theater masquerading as a congressional hearing. As the CIA has already assessed, COVID-19 most likely originated from a lab leak, and efforts to undermine that conclusion are disingenuous.

The UAE is officially launching a peaceful offensive against Iran, as the mullahs there must be ousted. The UAE has attacked Iran's oil installations. Bravo U.A.E., while the appeasing spinless E.U. only watches. - @Trumpspoof__

@ScienceMagazine I fear it will take Hurculean efforts to gain public trust of the CDC after the damage that was done from the disastrous COVID messaging. I also fear those efforts won’t be taken and public health messaging will continue to be taken with skepticism.

In a new #SciencePolicyArticle, researchers conducted an online experiment using an opt-in sample of 2,989 U.S. adult participants. Participants were randomly exposed to either a consensus-based or uncertainty-based CDC-style statement, and their responses were measured. They found that exposure to the uncertainty-based message increased perceived vaccine risks and uncertainty, reduced vaccination intentions, lowered trust in the CDC, and increased endorsement of science-denial strategies. These effects occurred regardless of participants’ political orientation. “Overall, the findings underscore the responsibility of public health institutions to communicate scientific uncertainty in ways that protect, rather than inadvertently weaken, population health,” write the authors. How is it that the LLMs get things wrong constantly, the very simplest things, and make stuff up pretty much nonstop, yet they are said to be hurtling unstoppably toward god-like power -- if they haven't secretly achieved it already? Is this a con job?
