Today, some of our team members (@Prof_KennyJames, @Khadija_theK, @DanielOlayinkaS) were at the Daily Trust Foundation (@Daily_TrustF) to train journalists and editors on how to better understand their audiences, strengthen reporting with data, and improve verification practices. The session focused on three areas: audience analytics and engagement, data and investigative journalism, and the use of digital tools for fact-checking. Participants learned how to track and understand audience behaviour, use data to uncover and deepen stories, and apply verification tools to check the accuracy of information before publication. The training focused on practical exercises, giving participants tools they can use directly in their newsrooms to improve the quality and credibility of their reporting.

The NYSC corper who was abducted by bandits and beaten mercilessly in a disturbing video has lost his life while in captivity, even after N10M ransom, according to reports.
