@32nds Oh wow! I figured it would have to do with the banshees not being enterable. Climbing the canyon is a fun one.
I’ve been poking through a bunch of old CE code as part of a restoration mod. I’m interested in some of the history if you wouldn’t mind a question here and there!
That is a stack of hacks! At the last minute (mb a couple weeks before shipping) some of the testers broke the mission by climbing so high on the sides of the canyons that they could skip parts of the mission. I had to try to prevent it with minimal changes. We couldn’t do a physical block because of the drop ships.

For those unaware, this will turn off player input if you go too high up in the sky. Load up with Acro and try it!
