@greateranglia I am not on a train yet, I will be travelling from Colchester to London around 9am but on a quite a tight schedule to get there. If journey times are affected I may need to make alternative arrangements. Thanks

@JohannaSaunders @nickabbott The correct response is to stop your DD immediately so they can't take this much from you, take monthly meter readings and pay only what you actually owe them, while you look to change to another supplier - probably Octopus. Good luck. Vote with your feet.

I keep thinking back to a call I had with #BritishGas in May after they upped our direct debit for Gas only from £60 to £355, the lady I spoke with barked at me “Don’t you try to make me feel bad with a sob story”, I was freaking out, genuinely scared, & they were laughing at us.

The two child benefit cap is perfectly reasonable. It stops certain people from using children as cash cows and is fair. If you cannot reasonably raise children with out support from the state - then you shouldn't be having kids. Tax payers shouldn't foot the bill
