So, imagine if the government comes out with "Yeah, aliens exist." And then also imagine if they covered it up for 80 years and were working on reverse engineering technology. Imagine all of the science that has been withheld from the public, all of the technology that could have helped us move forward as a species - but it was hidden intentionally. If this is all true, they literally shit on all of humanity because of their lust of conquest and greed. Humanity isn't a good species; we murder our own on a whim. We let each other starve, and we let our governments divide us. If any aliens are watching us, it's to make sure that we don't go out into the vastness of the universe and cause more damage by our lust for conquest. We're governed by evil and we do nothing about it.

@omgsidewalks Where I live, you often don't even get a full-time contract anymore, when working in a bakery, as a florist, and so on. They only offer part-time contracts, where you don't get paid overtime, are easier to kick out and such.

Just curious but why is it that actual human jobs like baker, florist, teacher, and childcare worker barely pay a livable wage, while fake jobs like AI specialist bootlicker, marketing campaign parasite, and synergy consultant are pulling six figures?

Wer sich darauf einlässt, wird nicht zum Vermittler, sondern zum Statisten in einem russischen Drama, dessen Kulissen längst einstürzen. Die ehrliche Antwort des Westens sollte daher nicht naives Mitspielen sein, sondern nüchterne Erkenntnis: Die beste Unterstützung für einen echten Frieden besteht darin, die russische Illusion von der Bühne zu holen durch konsequente Stärkung der Ukraine und klare Haltung gegenüber Moskau. Nur so endet das Stück nicht mit Putins Applaus, sondern mit der Realität.

Mein Gott! Putin will keinen Frieden, sondern Okkupation, Krieg, Verwirrung und Spaltung Europas. Ich hätte wirklich nicht gedacht, dass wir diese Debatte tatsächlich noch mal führen. Schröder hat uns in die Abhängigkeit von Putin gebracht, verdient dort Geld und soll ernsthaft vermitteln? Mehr als scheinheilig! Gibt es sowas wie ein SPD-„Machtwort“ nachdem die Debatte einen ganzen Tag laufen gelassen wurde? Hallo?

@babymohouseman Es gibt kaum noch gemeinsame Werte und etwas, dass uns als Gesellschaft zusammenhält. Die Leute suchen nach Halt und Sicherheit, finden das aber nicht. Also gehen sie in den "Ich zuerst"-Modus, weil die Zeiten unsicher sind.

Viele Menschen sind einfach komplett abgestumpft, empathielos und kaltherzig. Das war früher nicht so krass, meine ich.
