@APersonsBurner @AlbertThePidgey @Jehnubis Pretty aure they're referring to neutral, advantage, and disadvantage states.

Smash players talk like their game isn't more mechanically complex than like 90% of fighting games
Yoshi Mario (schizo STG player)@YoshischizoSTG
@elecwindgodfist no no no, you see, on a doorknob, it gently guides you to turning a quarter circle, in a fighting game, it forces you to do it with specific frame timings and busts your nuts open every time you get it wrong

@thecoolguy501 I don't blame her, the tadc fandom is toxic as hell and deserves it, tbh.

@NixyroS @ring0flaming0 @JamesStevenson @DavionBlackwing @insomniacgames Can we just stop fightning and enjoy that he is not living in an abandoned gas station?

I don’t even know where to start... So, my boyfriend showed me this Instagram reel of a Spyro the Dragon statue. The sad part? It’s sitting in an abandoned building. The cool part? It was only 45 minutes away from us! I rewatched the reel a million times and tried to message the creator for details, but they gatekept the location.
So, I took matters into my own hands and spent hours tracking it down. I posted on Reddit, and some amazing people reached out with the coolest history on this thing. Turns out, this exact statue was an exclusive promotional piece used all the way back at E3 for Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon! In the old photos, he was perched way up on a high stand looking awesome. Sadly, looking closely at the reel, his wings are missing now—but he’s still dope. After E3, the statue was bought by or donated to The Arc Arcade in Astoria. When the arcade shut down in 2018, the statue basically vanished... until now.
Once I finally pinpointed the address, I had to track down the property owner, just crossing my fingers that he’d actually know what I was talking about. Because honestly, who calls a stranger first thing in the morning asking about a giant purple dragon?
By the time I gathered all this info it was 3 AM, and I was wide awake like an owl, but I had to get some sleep for work. I finally called the owner around 10 AM. I asked if he owned the building, and he said yes. Then I asked if he knew what that huge thing visible through the glass door was.
His response? “Oh, that purple lizard thing? I don’t know! It was there when I bought the building in 2021, and I have no idea what to do with it.”
I was absolutely losing it such a hilarious response. Then, he literally asked me, “Can you just come take it on Monday?” and I was like, “Uh, YES!”
If everything goes smoothly, I’m going to keep him in storage while I work on restoring him, with the goal of displaying him at a gaming expo in the future. Wish me luck and fingers crossed we get this baby out of there! #spyrothedragon #spyro #retrogaming #insomniacs

@party_animals Using AI to generate this response is hilarious and sad.

Dear Party Animals players,
Regarding the controversy surrounding the recent "Golden Paw Awards" AI Video Contest, we would like to offer our deepest apologies to all players who have expressed concern, shared criticism, and voiced their opinions — especially to our creator community.
Following the announcement of this event, we received a significant amount of negative feedback. We have read through your comments and opinions one by one. We must admit that our consideration of the event's conception was insufficient, the design was inadequately thought through, and our communication with the community was not up to par.
Even though our original intention was to encourage more diverse forms of creative expression and lower the barrier to entry, allowing more players who love Party Animals to participate, we mistakenly tied "lowering the barrier" together with "using AI." In doing so, we overlooked the potential offense and harm that the ongoing debate surrounding AI-generated content could cause to our players and the creator community. We feel deeply uneasy and apologetic about this, and we sincerely accept the criticism.
After carefully considering voices from all sides, we held a vote across our major platforms regarding whether the event should proceed. Based on your feedback and our own internal review and reflection, we have made the following decision:
Effective immediately, the "Golden Paw Awards" event is officially canceled.
To the players who were troubled, disappointed, or offended by this situation, we would like to once again express our sincere apologies. To every player who voiced criticism, participated in the vote, and pushed us to re-evaluate this issue, we would like to express our most sincere gratitude.
Moving forward, we will approach related topics with a much more humble and cautious attitude. Before launching any future community creation events, we pledge to communicate thoroughly, listen earnestly to your feedback, and ensure we have reached a community consensus before deciding whether to go ahead.
Additionally, we will continue to collect, organize, and act upon player feedback regarding gameplay mechanics and other areas. We hereby promise to listen more closely to our players, respect your voices, and maintain a tighter line of communication with the community.

@ring0flaming0 @JamesStevenson @DavionBlackwing @MomokaRage @insomniacgames He wasn't asking for it for free, though? Though, you're welcome to point out where exactly they were asking for a freebie and where they were rude.
English

@JamesStevenson @DavionBlackwing @NixyroS @MomokaRage @insomniacgames Let's ignore how "we" is pushing it (media man that joined years after the trilogy, none of the og devs on board or in thread lol) and how you appear to be doing damage control for your company's PR.
Even then you *were* asking it for free and you *were* rude, I'm glad we agree.

@MomokaRage @JamesStevenson @insomniacgames Sounds like they're interested. Are you sure your claim is right or do you just reeeeaally want the spyro statue?
English

@JamesStevenson @insomniacgames I’m not giving him to them, they don’t own him anymore and they are not interested.

@BlizzardCS @RobertTate10 This is honestly pathetic. You're more than happy to ban people for F bombs but you do jack shit about blatant racism, death threats, etc.
Also, how about those bots? You gonna do anything about those?
Get tossed.

We also have a code of conduct that every player of our games agrees to. Part of that is refraining from profanity. Freedom of Speech is between the US Govt. and it's citizens. Not between a private company and their customers. No, you aren't allowed to curse in our games. Do so, get reported, there are consequences. ^PJ
