For what it's worth, I've been told Slot will be gone after Brentford by mutual consent, and Iraola is the one they want.

🇸🇦 According to The Times, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is officially prepared to dilute its stake in Newcastle United by selling up to 25 per cent of its shareholding in the club 🤑 Before anyone panics, PIF absolutely intends to remain the majority shareholder at St James' Park 👑 This strategic move is actually a massive power play designed to inject major equity into the club ahead of a historic summer ☀️ The cash injection is set to fund a proposed £200million state-of-the-art training ground in Woolsington, plus further talks on a blockbuster new stadium that could cost north of £1billion! 🏗️✨ Since the transformative September 2021 takeover from Mike cA$hley for £305million, Newcastle's value has absolutely skyrocketed 📈 The Times say the club is now valued at a staggering £1.5billion! By parting with a quarter of their current 85 per cent stake, PIF would drop their holding to around 63.75 per cent, handing a new investor a 21.25 per cent share of the club. 🤝 This would generation over £300million, with every single penny destined for our massive infrastructure projects🎚️ The Reuben brothers would currently retain their 15 per cent via RB Sports & Media. This decision comes after a crucial club meeting last month where it was made clear that fresh equity was vital to progress💡 Because Newcastle must part-fund any new stadium themselves to secure the right loan-to-value ratios, bringing in a new partner alongside PIF and the Reubens is the perfect way to carry the financial load. ✨ Right now, the club is weighing up two thrilling concept-phase options to explode our matchday revenue. 🏟️ Option one is redeveloping our beloved home since 1892, St James’ Park, at a cost of around £500million. 🖤🤍 Option two is building a brand-new, world-class 65,000+-capacity stadium, which would cost more than double that amount. 🤯 To ensure we have all the options on the table, the club has been incredibly smart behind the scenes. Newcastle recently splashed £25million to buy the majority of Leazes Terrace—the historic listed Georgian building right behind the East Stand. 🏙️ That is in addition to the £9million purchase of the Strawberry Place car park land back in 2023, which is currently rocking as our matchday Stack fanzone! 🍻 While these mega-projects brew, the current £30million upgrade of our current facilities is well underway, bringing new suites, lighting, screens, and a fresh pitch to SJP in the biggest revamp since 2001, while the Benton training ground has also had a significant face-lift. 🛠️ Our turnover has already boomed from £140million to over £400million under this ownership, but to truly catch up with the £700million+ revenues of Manchester City and Arsenal, this injection of investment is the exact fuel we need! 🔥 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL #PIF

Have you ever gone for a run, had the national press show up totally out of the blue, then picked up your car up somewhere on the route and drove home? Definitely not all planned 😆

From what I know and what I think, this is my prediction: - Arsenal: Arteta stays and extends his contract - City: Guardiola leaves, Maresca arrives - United: Carrick gets 2 year deal - Villa: Emery stays, current deal 2029 - Liverpool: Slot stays somehow (should go imo) Agree?

@landofangle If the purpose of ousting Starmer is to improve Labour’s chances of winning the next GE, Streeting is possibly the worst candidate for leadership

Lloyds has launched a new first-time buyer mortgage needing just a £5,000 deposit 🏡 Key details: - Up to 98% mortgage (borrow up to £295k) - Max property price: £300k - 5-year fixed rate at 5.89% - No product fees - Max borrowing: 4.5x salary - Available to employed + self-employed But there’s a catch: - No gifts (“Bank of Mum & Dad” banned) - No new builds - No shared ownership - Strict affordability + credit checks apply Example: £300k house = £5k deposit + £295k mortgage. On the example of a £300,000 home with a £5,000 deposit: Mortgage = £295,000 Rate = 5.89% fixed for 5 years Assuming a 40-year term (the max allowed) Estimated monthly repayment = ~£1,600/month. If the mortgage term was shorter: 35 years = ~£1,740/month 30 years = ~£1,920/month That’s before bills, insurance, council tax and maintenance costs. Lloyds says it’s aimed at renters who can afford monthly payments but can’t save huge deposits. Basically, the majority of Millennials and GenZ!

Xabi Alonso is the preferred candidate, but as predicted club will bat it down until they’re confident he wants to join. Iraola is waiting on Chelsea and Chelsea are waiting on Alonso.
Chelsea Dodgers@TheBlueDodger

🚨 Potential candidates for Chelsea: ▪︎ Oliver Glasner ▪︎ Filipe Luis ▪︎ Xabi Alonso ▪︎ Andoni Iraola ▪︎ Marco Silva ▪︎ Cesc Fabregas Insiders say there is NO preferred candidate, and Chelsea have 5 or 6 coaches under consideration. (@Matt_Law_DT) #CFC

Declan Rice snubbed FWA Footballer of the Year in favour of Bruno Fernandes - @theofficialfwa Potentially, on course for a Premier League and Champions League medal, 18 more matches played, >1000 more minutes on the field. The wrong man won. football.london/arsenal-fc/pla…

Bruno Fernandes is a wonderful player and has had an excellent season - in the Premier League. If the Footballer of the Year award was a PL award, there could be few arguments about him winning. But Declan Rice has won more games (35) than Bruno has played (34), is on course to play around half a season more than Fernandes in terms of matches and has won player of the match awards throughout the run to the Champions League final and has been key to Arsenal being in a position to win the PL with three games to go. Same could be said for Gabriel and David Raya. Doesn't feel like the right winner to me, despite Fernandes' fine form, especially since the turn of the year.
