@NotNickNguyen the problem solving should be happening on the police/justice system’s end, not on the end of the people who are being oppressed. instead of thinking “what if BLM changed X about how they approach protesting?” you should think “what if racist cops were actually held accountable?”

@megansnopik maybe it’s how i see the violence being used or how people look and portray themselves when doing something. i also ask would they do it alone without the crowd to show their concern? possible not they only do that in the heat of the moment most of the time

@megansnopik the article was great but “provoke” violence means you are giving the other side a reason to create violence and that the side we are in doesn’t. i don’t believe the article says riots are an ideal or riots are effective it’s just stating how the violences are causing riots

@megansnopik if ur saying that we should jump on cop cars and smash stores then how does that portray us as a group? good or bad because if i see that on the news as someone who isn’t inform i might see more negative in that video than positive
