The way Zerodha has started to charge Rs 40 in place of Rs 20 for those not maintaining 50% cash margin, is going to affect them badly.
I think Zerodha will slip to 5th rank in terms of most active clients soon.
Their customer service is also pathetic.

For 10 years, tech companies made every engineer grind the same puzzles and prove they could invert a binary tree from memory.
Today, the dumbest AI model can walk in and one-shot the entire interview.

Poor woman!
Looters entered her house, tied her up, killed her husband, and ran away with valuables.
What tragedy! Imagine the horror of living with the memory of her husband being killed in her presence.
Then the police checked her house to see what other valuables the killers had taken and found that the items she claimed were missing were actually hidden in her room.
The police dug deeper and discovered that she only had planned the murder with the help of her lover, paying ₹1 lakh to a contract killer.
An incident from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. What acting, must applaud.

Axis bank I’m genuinely disappointed.
Walked into an Axis Bank branch just now to check for a Burgundy upgrade.
The folks sitting there had no clue about the eligibility criteria.
“Sir, you need to open a new account.”
“Sir, give a ₹5 lakh cheque.”
I’m like… what?
I literally had to pull out the Burgundy eligibility PDF and show it to them.
And even after that — straight denial:
“Sir, this is not in our system.”

Zerodha will keep on losing key market share from next financial year. Their PAT is going to drop sizably in next year.
Almost their entire profit comes from traders and day by day it is not making sense for professional traders who deal in intraday trades to use zerodha. Charging double brokerage or interest for intraday trades is going to throw off every serious player. But I am betting that Zerodha will start charging investors for every order they place to compensate drop in trading volume.
They have their own strategy and might be good for business in long term. But in that case company should rebranded it's name as ZeroTha😄
