Ayrıca, coğrafyadaki antik kentlerin isimlerinde kullanılan ve Yunanca ile hiçbir akrabalığı bulunmayan -nth- takısı da bu işgalin dilbilimsel kanıtıdır; nitekim ünlü Ko-ri-to(Korinthos) kenti adı bu yabancı eki aynen taşımaktadır. Bu dilbilimsel ve kültürel bağımlılığin en radikal kanıtı ise ironik bir biçimde "deniz" kelimesinde saklıdır. Tarihin en ikonik denizci kavimlerinden biri olarak kurgulanan bu toplumun saray arşivlerinde, deniz suyunu ve kütlesini ifade eden tek bir kelime vardır: Thalassa (tabletlerdeki haliyle ta-ra-sa). Dilbilimsel olarak Hint-Avrupa kökenli olmayan bu kelime, Mikenlerin denizi bile yerli halkın diliyle isimlendirmek zorunda kaldığını gösterir ve tabletlerde bundan başka bir deniz terimi bulunmamaktadır. Bürokratik kayıtlarda mutlak egemenliği ve yöneticiyi tanımlayan tu-ra-no (Klasik Yunancadaki tyrannos) terimi ise bizi daha geniş bir coğrafi denkleme götürür. Bu kelimenin izleri, Batı Anadolu’daki Lidya ve Troya kültür dairesinden geçerek Etrüsk dilindeki "Turan" (Ece/Mürebbiye) kavramına bağlanır. Kelimenin Avrasya steplerindeki İskitler ve erken dönem Türk toplulukları ile gösterdiği fonetik ve kavramsal ortaklık, Akdeniz'deki bu antik unvanın sınırları aşan çok eski bir kültürel köke sahip olabileceğine işaret eder. Görünen o ki, Helen dünyasının bu yayılmacı kolonicilik ve kültürel hırsızlıkla şekillenmiş refleksleri 3500 yıldır hiç değişmemiştir. Tunç Çağı'nda Anadolu ve Ege'nin zeytinini, şarabını, tanrılarını, kentlerini ve denizini çalarak kendi hanelerine yazan bu kavim, bugün de baklava, dolma ve yoğurt gibi köklü Türk kültürel ürünlerini "Greek" etiketiyle Helenleştirmeye çalışmaktadır.

@vicky_gnp Η καταγωγή που νιώθει συνήθως ο άνθρωπος είναι πιο κοντά σε εκείνο το δίκτυο σχέσεων μέσα στο οποίο έγινε αυτό που είναι. Και όχι σε αυτό που επιτάσσουν κοινωνικές νόρμες, νομικές συμβάσεις ή εθιμοτυπικές συμπεριφορές/στάσεις.
