⚠️Please be aware there is ice on some roads. We've already been called to Atherstone Road in Hartshill several times this morning after a number of reported collisions and near misses. Thankfully there have been no serious injuries but please drive carefully⚠️

Officers from our team and @OPUWarks stopped more than 80 vehicles on Coventry Road and Marston Lane yesterday. It resulted in nine vehicles being seized, 11 breath tests and three stop searches carried out, 13 traffic offence reports being written and six arrests 🚔👍👮‍♀️

@NuneatonCops @ClaireH_NN This also include me speaking to one of the team shortly after the asda incident who I will not name. They stated there was no npt teams as they were moved away. In fact that is the only time all year I have seen high vis in town all year.

@BattlefieldBen @ClaireH_NN I’d say that you are incorrect Ben. The Nuneaton Central Team are in the Town Centre regularly.

@ClaireH_NN Positive news, however the cctv is only really of use if you have someone at the other end to attend or enforce crime/asb etc. @NuneatonCops dont have a presence in the town centre and haven’t for a long time. Not much point paying out for an operator if no action is ever taken
