Wellcome become back Mkoma. Nice to see you out of prison. You were never supposed to have been incarcerated for you had not committed any crime. Now that you are out of the confines of the prison walls, I pray that mentally you walk out of prison as well. I am sure your incarcerators wanted to imprison you both physically & mentally. I know people have different ways of coping, I however suggest you think less and write less about your time in prison and do more on how our country should move forward. You are one of the best brains we have in our country, you have experience too, please deploy those resources to finding a way for the country to get out of the mess we are in. We are confronted with #CAB3 and all the threats it poses on our fundamental rights, the danger it brings to the foundational principles that our constitution is anchored on. Let's fight those. I am sure your voice, your wisdom and your experience will surely be invaluable. Otherwise enjoy your freedom Murambwi, you deserve to be free and be among your people.
Dr Walter Mzembi@waltermzembi

Imprisonment is both purification and pruning time ; purification because of involuntary celibacy and unceasing prayer & communion with God and pruning because genuine and fearless friends and relatives stand out . Spiritual growth & purpose reset time .

Fellow Zimbabweans,Our country appears to be moving toward the consolidation of personal power under the guise of tradition and ritual. The growing influence of spiritual advisers over state affairs, the adoption of royal titles, and plans for an extravagant residence at Mt Hampden signal a worrying drift from democratic norms. Attempts to extend a presidential term and reshape our institutions to fit Mnangagwa's family ambitions threaten the sacrifices made for our freedom and the rule of law. I urge all citizens, leaders, and institutions to defend our constitution, protect democratic checks and balances, and ensure the future of Zimbabwe remains in the hands of the people not in the making of a dynasty.

In January 2026, I sat down with my tezvara @bbmhlanga & told him that @edmnangagwa was planning on making himself "a great Munhumutapa" and make Zimbabwe a dynasty. Some people thought I was going crazy but I knew that the President is being advised by his masvikiro and n'angas to extend his term to 2030 so he does 12 years in power and make himself a "Great Munhumutapa." I am glad a lot of Zimbabweans are beignning to see where we are heading towards. He now calls himself "Mambo." He wants to build a new royal residence in Mt Hampden. He is hell-bent on creating his Mafidi dynasty in which he is the great Munhumutapa. We got a President controlled and manipulated by Sangomas. We have an occultic administration. Anyway, zvinopera hazvo manje manje. #2030EDAnegeAsipo #Ngazvitenderere

Nearly most Zimbabwean surnames are found in prison , many inmates can go for months to years without a visit from a relative which by the way is an antidote to mental disorders. Prisoners pray unceasingly 24/7, many find God inside . Visit them!

We keep warning people that CAB3 is about making our President a King and here he is talking about how a King doesn’t have to tell the people of Munhumutapa where he goes. The President is a civil servant who should be accountable to the people. He is not a King, so how does he say this? How is this normal?

BREAKING ‼️🚨 If you thought the Daily News audio was bad, listen to this one. Nelson Chamisa is heard confirming, while speaking to someone “in the system”, that he is there to block people from going into the streets. He even says that when his own friend, Advocate Thabani Mpofu, proposed that people should go into the streets, he dismissed and rubbished the idea. What makes this even more shocking is the derogatory manner in which he speaks about a man who stood with him throughout his political career. This is the same Thabani Mpofu who introduced Chamisa to his chambers so that he could become an advocate, represented him for free in the 2018 election case, and reportedly lost clients because of his association with Chamisa. Yet here is Chamisa, speaking to someone in the system, trashing the very man who stood by him and confirming in his own words that he is there to make sure people do not go into the streets. Listen to Chamisa in his own words.

Thank you, Member of Parliament, @chigumbu_, for tagging me in this post. The only question I have for you, MP, is this: why are members of parliament failing to come out and not only declare their position on this issue, but also publicly state that if Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 is passed, they will step down in 2028? Surely, if one genuinely believes that the Constitution is being violated, then they cannot continue to hold office under an unconstitutional arrangement. In my view, any member of parliament who says they are opposed to the bill but stops there is not being entirely genuine. If they are sincere, they should clearly say: “I am opposed to the bill, and if it is passed into law, I will step down in 2028 because I refuse to be part of the violation of the Constitution.” Naturally, such a position would trigger by-elections, but that is the price of defending constitutionalism and the rule of law. To my knowledge, the only politician who has publicly taken that principled position is the Mayor of Bulawayo, David Coltart. He has clearly stated that if Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 is passed into law, he will step down in 2028 when his term constitutionally ends. He has said he will not be part of a violated Constitution carrying what he believes would be an illegal law if the amendment bypasses a referendum. It really is that simple. Those who are truly opposed to the amendment should be willing to say publicly: “If this passes, I will leave office in 2028.” If they cannot say that, then people are justified in questioning how genuine their opposition really is.
Hon. Darlington Chigumbu🇿🇼@chigumbu_

We were elected to serve the citizens, not to serve ourselves. In this video, I address the proposed 2-year extension. While some MPs might be looking forward to how they can personally benefit from this, we have to ask ourselves, are we in Parliament to represent the people or ourselves? My biggest fear is the dangerous precedent this proposed amendment sets. If we treat our Constitution as a document we can easily alter for short-term convenience, we leave it entirely vulnerable. If we open the door to change it today, what stops the next group from coming in and changing it to 20 years tomorrow? We must protect the integrity of our laws. @advocatemahere @begottensun @villageadv @valezinhumwe @cdesetfree @Cde_Ostallos @cdemlambo @daddyhope @zimcelebs1 @263Chat @r_muchenje @matinyarare @BhudhiGhivhi @RexMidzi @Jamwanda2 @KMutisi @gladyshlatywayo @nelsonchamisa @freemanchari @ChangeRadioZW

Today is the last day. The deadline for written rejection of Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 — CAB3 — closes today, 17 May 2026. Make no mistake about what this Bill is. It does not create one job. It does not build one road, one school, one clinic. It does not feed one hungry family. What it does is stretch tenure to 2033, entrench Emmerson Mnangagwa and the cartels around him, and strip you of your most basic right — to decide who governs you. Don't be fooled by the propaganda. You cannot afford to be on the terraces. Neutrality is not an option. Send your written rejection to the Clerk of Parliament TODAY. Template on AllThingsZimbabwe.Substack.com. The Constitution is yours. Defend it. #RejectCAB3 #DefendTheConstitution

As we await the reconvening of Parliament, this is not the time for distraction, fragmentation or personality contests. It is the time for focus, discipline and coordination. Across civil society, churches, legal actors and political formations, a constitutional consensus is steadily emerging. Zimbabwe’s future will not be secured by individuals acting alone, but by disciplined collective action anchored in constitutionalism. #DefendTheConstitution
