@TfL what’s up with the absolutely deafening noises on the Jubilee Line between Caning Town and Canada Water? It’s so unpleasant. Surely this isn’t normal?

@thetrainline I have to change via Blackfriars, which means just crossing a platform, not leaving the station. Blackfriars is an eticket enabled station. Really frustrating.

@OJBlack This is due to the ticket type selected and that there is a change through a London Terminal station (which only accepts paper tickets). I've had a look on Thameslink, and they only offer collection for this ticket type. Thanks, -Leah

@thetrainline Hi, Seems to be an issue on your platform not providing etickets between Denmark Hill and Harpenden. Both stations take etickets and they are available if you do it as two journey to/from Blackfriars. I'd rather not waste time collecting at station.

@thetrainline Hi, just checked again and ‘collect at station’ is the only option. See screenshots. Any idea why this might be? There are few ticket machines and there is often a queue so I’d rather use an eticket. I have done in the past, so must be a settings issue.

@OJBlack Hi Oliver, I've had a look on our App and Website for journeys today between Denmark Hill and Harpenden and can see Etickets as an option. Can you confirm if you're able to see this now? Thanks, -Leah

@TLRailUK there’s an issue with how Denmark Hill station is setup in the online ticketing platform. No eticket options are available when you select DMK as a departure/arrival station, despite the station being setup with eticket readers. Picking up at station isn’t convenient

I would suggest only certain members of staff can work in specific areas with certain trained skills. If you would like to raise this as a formal feedback/complaint, you can do so, here: thameslinkrailway.com/help-and-suppo… Once again I am sorry to hear of the delay to your journey this morning. ^Kieran

@TLRailUK why is the Windsor walk entrance at Denmark Hill station closed? According to its published opening times it should be open. I nearly missed my train as a result.

@TLRailUK There were 3 members of staff when I walked through the open entrance- seems sufficient. Also the Windsor Walk entrance is usually unmanned.

@OJBlack Hi there, just called the station and spoke to the staff on the ground. Unfortunately a staff shortage means that we cannot open both entrances I am sorry to say. I am sorry to hear of any inconvenience this caused to your journey this morning. ^Kieran

@SevenRooms why don’t you allow Apple Pay or even allow autocomplete on your booking form? It’s London in the year 2026, I do not carry my wallet around with me or know my credit card number off-by-heart! Will have to book somewhere else.

@maitlis @jonsopel bit dismayed by your latest ep on Trump v BBC. Trump is trying to cow yet another news outlet (ABC, WSJ, NYT) and you made it about the BBC license fee. The BBC made a mistake, but Trump is using it to suppress global free media. Sense of proportion needed.

Saturday night 8pm kickoff in the middle of London means fighting your way thru all the hen and stag and Xmas party twats. It’s exhausting.

@PeckhamVision Good Morning, has the demolition of the 1930s Arcade infront of the Station been delayed yet again? It was meant to be October yet nothing! Thank you.

@lb_southwark when is this happening? The delays are ridiculous, it’s been years! Even the posters at site say starting Summer 2025, it’s December tomorrow!

We paid for Angela Rayner’s education. We paid her wages when she worked for the local council. We paid her wages when she became an MP. We even paid the settlement that enabled her to buy a house. Tax payers have funded every aspect of her entire life.

@Saul_Sadka What a mess of a map. Peckham and Camberwell are in Southwark, not in Lewisham. Is this AI generated slop?!?

This is the London Banana. As long as you stay within the Banana, you'll have a great time in London. Almost everything outside the Banana is horrible these days, best avoid. Not clear why, or when this happened. But it is what it is.

@ianvisits Good news, but it’s ridiculous how long (10 years) this fairly modest redevelopment has taken to happen. Bodes ill for any more ambitious plans to improve Southwark!
