Absolutely no one “needs” a car payment. I bought my first 4 cars cash by saving. Buy a used beater. I did this as a 15 year old. The insurance and maintenance is also much cheaper. I didn’t have a car payment until I was in my 30’s!

Boomers are desperate for us to forget that at one point fast food was price competitive with cooking at home. In fact this strat right here likely came in under the per-meal cost of anything you could make at home for the same amount of calories and fillingness. Remember, these used to be bigger, they have shrinkflated in addition to becoming more expensive.
It's probably the most basic human experience since we started building houses. In great Roman cities the Insulae, their apartments didn't have kitchen due to the fire risk. Instead there was a restaurant on the first floor where everyone grabbed their food.
