A bit delayed doing @OcTBRChallenge stats. I was hoping Id finished The Book of Witching to sneakily include it in October lol. No luck. I’m enjoying it, but I’m not devouring it like I do with fantasy/dystopian books lol. Looks like I didn’t have many favourites, just Torchfire

@OcTBRChallenge And I mustn't forget to claim my badges. I fell a bit short of my own self-challenge, managing to read a book or finish an audiobook from 78 different bundles rather than 100, but that's okay. It was still fun trying. 😄

Thanks to @OcTBRChallenge for creating this challenge. It really lets me get the desire to gorge on books and audiobooks out of my system, so that I read a bit more sensibly and patiently the rest of the year – like saving my appetite for a big meal.

Starting #OcTBRChallenge now. I currently own 6424 unread books, which is ridiculous, so let's see if I can bring that down a bit this month. Secondary goal to spice it up: trying to read a book each from as many of the Humble Bundles I've bought over the last 14 years as I can.

I’ve barely read as much this year for #ocTBRchallenge 🙈 Iv been so focussed on these Halloween crochet treats 🙈 number 18 finished tonight, followed by an hour of PlayStation…I have less than 100 pages left on such a fab series so will finish with my sleepy tea now.

Woop it’s October! Which only means 1 thing!! @OcTBRChallenge 🎃 👻 Im starting with cosy Japanese read which has its own Spotify playlist to listen to whilst you read!!! I’d like to knock a load of longstanding dusty books off my TBR so going to aim to avg 3days/book

@OcTBRChallenge So it’s not spooky but I feel like the Songlight series I’m reading atm could be a good set of films/programme. It’s all about telepathic people being persecuted and called unhumans and taken to a place where they basically have a form of lobotomy to take away their abilities

@OcTBRChallenge There was a lot I really liked. I'm reading Babel-17 by Samuel Delany at the moment and that's so far up my street that it's parked outside my house. I think my favourite so far is Kim Newman's Drachenfels, a fun, imaginative novel about a play being mounted in a risky location.
