You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold."
So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house?
I didn't sell it.
I didn't cash out.
I didn't make a profit.
But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year.
Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

@MetoliusAI Omg. That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen bar none. Dude you need to get back in your meds!

@RealEmirHan That guys is rediculous. How is Hack Reacher going to work out 2-3 hours a day to preserve those muscles when he’s on the road? Reacher is a big lanky guy like Howie Long, lean and big boned. Not schwarzinegger.

@amitisinvesting While I still admire his vision, I think Musk has the emotional maturity of a 15 yr old and the ethics of a grifter.

OPENAI WINS THE TRIAL AGAINST ELON MUSK.
- Musk argued that OpenAI “stole a charity” by converting into a for-profit company after he donated tens of millions to help launch it.
- OpenAI’s defense claimed Musk knew about and supported the for-profit plans early on, and only turned against the company after losing influence and later starting his competing AI company, xAI.
Looks like OpenAI just cleared one of their biggest hurdles to going public.

@Monica55dzrh 10% cheap for $500 unless you had issues with the service

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic..... 🤔🤔

@ChrisCamillo Now more than ever there needs to be a fundamental change in the process of education to fit the new world where data is infinitely available and the winners will be those that can think outside the box and apply such ideas to the data.
English

@ChrisCamillo There are stages of brain development and childhood is very plastic and thier ability to THINK is very moldable on a fundamental level. Next as they develop communication they are able to absorb huge amounts of data. Then next the learn how to use the thinking to use the data.
