I have always reiterated that personally and officially, I am always open to informed and constructive criticism and opinions. Criticisms that jump on bandwagon trends and fail to be based on fact are treated with contempt because they are not only mischievous but intended to misinform. To all the 'IT Professionals' who all of a sudden are making all manner of spurious claims that the @MoCDTI through its Agency - @NITAGhana - is acting illegally, please read the National Information Technology Agency Act, 2008 (Act 771), Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481) and the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendments) Regulations 2025 (L.I. 2512). The Ministry is simply ENFORCING existing legislation that has been on our books since 2008, 2023 and 2025. The proposed new legislation has NOT even been laid before Parliament. I welcome anyone to point out which specific action of the Agency is NOT backed by a provision under the stated legislation. We have a Country to build, and we will ensure enforcement and sanity in our Technology space. Cheers.

If their beloved NPP had put half the seriousness this govt is putting in,the interchange would have been completed in 2024.

@cdzas Ooh I totally agree, so we go back to when Ghana had only 50 ambulances across Ghana, when there was no single car assembly plant in Ghana, where Ghana used to import something simple as tissues, when Obuasi mines was closed down, and our health system still use folders, etc

This Rawlings/Kufour debate got me thinking and reading. And I’ve spent a lot of time doing so. In 1995. Rawlings under the NDC had the Ghana Vision 2020. It was supposed to be an accelerated process to get Ghana to a developed nation Almost like the Singapore model. Everything was set the blue print and all. Unfortunately Ghana voted for Kufour and the NPP in 2000, they threw that National Development plan away and Ghana hasn’t been the same! They won again in 2016 and took us back 30 years. How can we develop with such people still in our country. If only they had followed the Ghana vision 2020 plan!!! Even if successive governments achieved 70% of that vision we would have been better off. I want to ask the NPP and Kufour, why did they throw away the Ghana vision 2020 ? I entreat everyone to go and read that document..!!!
