@ChrisMedlandF1 To be fair the track position is due to a poor start from Norris. Mclaren is and have been the best car in F1 for a few races now. It’s the execution that is currently letting them down.

Norris takes half a second out of Verstappen. The indications so far have been that the McLaren is actually the quicker car today, just hampered by track position #F1 #SpanishGP

@wtf1official Would add that he put the car on Pole in F2 as well. Not too bad.

@MattP1Gallagher @TomP1Bellingham hi guys. Ford is not making the 2026 power unit. Red Bull is making their own. Ford is basically paying to have their name on the car. They will help in some small part, sure but loosing them as a partner is not a massive hit except financially.

@wearetherace The real problem is money. Drivers are sponsored by f1 teams and that puts a limit on what teams they will go to. That is why we see 3rd place finisher go to f1 when the f2 winners does not. But without f1 teams sponsoring juniors only the rich would be able to compete in f2.

@MattP1Tommy I think we have had several great sprint races this year. The problem in this was the amount of tire management they all did. They could maybe mandate the hard tires or a pit stop to make them drive flat out. The racing in the first 4 laps where great. Then everyone managed pace.

@sooper_tweet12 @MattP1Tommy In f2 they do one qualiy for the race, and reverse the top 10 for the sprint race. So if we do a reverse grid I assume they would drop the sprint shootout.

@autosport Just use the DRS the same way indy use Push to pass. Give drivers a limited number of times to use it in the race

Should F1 ditch the DRS system in favour of a push-to-pass system similar to that used in IndyCar? 🤔

@wtf1official F1 should reintroduce the Q3 tire rule forcing the top10 to start on their qualifying tire. This would result in less 1 stop races and might help spice up the P8-p12 finishing order.
