I was late picking my kid up from school today because I was holding another mom while she cried for the 14 parents in Texas who won’t be picking their children up from school tonight, or ever again. She cried for them and she cried out of fear for the lives of her children

Parenting is groaning when you have to watch the same movie for the 300th time, but also mad when the kid interrupts the movie because you’re actually watching it

my daughter was born in 2003 so i know that she’s 18 & an adult- 🥺🤭🤯😱 -to cope with facts i now tell her that she isn’t technically an adult as her prefrontal cortex isn’t fully developed&won’t be until about 25 then sob lasso a hug as she googles definition calm & Rationally
