Absolutely Wrong analysis! Israel has been engaged in a multi-front war since Oct 7 last year. Since then they have demolished Hamas, Hizbullah, carried out missions across Iran, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. Iran on the other hand has been stockpiling exactly for such a scenario. Iran carried out strikes without any regard to civilian lives. Isreal on other hand carried out precision strikes only. Iran is military and technologically far inferior to Israel. It's Airforce can't dare to conduct mission in the manner Israel did. This js just one aspect of their inferior tactical and operational strategic depth

Any institute or a club funded or supported by government can’t be allowed restrictive and selective use of its facilities. Delhi Gymkhana, Golf Clubs etc all over the country run on free or subsidised huge land parcels provided by the babus ,for the babus and their cohorts only. Others have to wait for memberships till their grand children are born. Now they are paid well, let them join privately run clubs where they can outreach their contacts for networking. @PMO, @narendramodi @AmitShah @IASassociation @BureaucratsInd

This is unfortunate. It is truly tragic. ( Hope the proposal is reconsidered) @arunjaitley got a new pool constructed during his life time. Some of the finest tennis matches have been played here. So much history, so many memories, and generations of sporting excellence are associated with this place. The Delhi Gymkhana Club is not just a property — it is part of our institutional and sporting heritage. Change may be necessary, but history and legacy deserve thoughtful preservation. Think of rupee and dollar like mangoes and chocolates. India has rupees. America has dollars. Now imagine many people in India want dollars because they need to buy things from outside India oil, iPhones, machines, software, foreign education, etc. When more people want dollars, the dollar becomes like a very popular chocolate. So shopkeeper says: Earlier 1 dollar = ₹80 Now because everyone wants dollars: 1 dollar = ₹83 / ₹84 / ₹85 That means the dollar became stronger and the rupee became weaker. Simple reason: When India needs more dollars than the dollars coming into India, the rupee falls. Seems a India is exporting lot of stuffs

Quite right. And if two defence services actually need to sign an MOA, then, they really need not publicize this. It's embarassing. A better way of showing true jointness would be to have only TWO theatres. East and West. Rather than have a 'maritime' theatre separately. We still don't know who will deal with a Pak SSG (N) raid on Dwarka or Porbandar. MTC or WTC? Where does the 'handover' take place? High tide line? Low tide? Edge of the continental shelf? Territorial waters? What of IAF strikes from WTC taking the sea route to hit Karachi and beyond? Jointness is in actual action and organisation. Not in documents for the media.

Can we please stop ‘study tours’ and foreign junkets of MLAs, MPs, ministers and bureaucrats first? At least common citizens travel abroad on their own money, AFTER paying a whopping 33% as taxes. Babus and politicians travel abroad on study tours on taxpayers’ money. @narendramodi ji, this message is not really fair. Govt should lead by example, instead of always asking citizens to make the change.
