Seems Mr. @PeterObi has now abandoned the trouble he’s facing within the NDC and the horrible update from his beloved Indonesia about their dwindling economy to quickly distract us with misinformation again but we will not watch while this goes uncorrected. For the umpteenth time, Nigeria’s obvious debt portfolio increase over the past three years under the administration of President Tinubu is not a function of new borrowings rather; vast majority of them are mathematical impacts of currency devaluation which you also promised to implement during your campaigns. In addition, this administration inherited a whopping ways and means debt of around 20trillion which was securitized to ensure swift repayment by the nation. This makes up a significant portion of the debts Mr Obi is claiming the administration has accumulated within three years. Also, Nigeria’s public debt includes loans taken by subnationals over the years. Since Mr Peter Obi has chosen to play the pedestrian game with our economy, let me break it down for him at that level; If tomorrow, President Tinubu decides to fix the Naira against the dollar at N500/$ and the value of our debts in Naira drops drastically, will Mr @peterobi unequivocally agree that the President has repaid all of our debts? Yes, governments at all levels across the world take loans to accelerate their development and Nigeria is not an exemption in this case. However, a presidential candidate believing that an administration with less than trillion N100trillion total budget in the last two budget cycles have borrowed almost N200 trillion is absolutely ridiculous. Lastly, Nigeria’s debt in dollar value has remained relatively stable ranging from $108bn in 2023 to $109bn in 2026. This tells the true story of the country’s debt levels. In contrast, Nigeria’s net external reserves has grown from $3bn in 2023 to around $40bn in 2026. I hope Mr Obi will do well to convert these to Naira same way he has done with our debts to show his audience how much we have grown in just three years. We will continue to set the records straight at every given opportunity while allowing Mr President to focus on delivering his mandate to the good people of Nigeria.

Excessive Borrowing Without Accountability: Further Affirmation of Imprudent Governance. President Bola Tinubu's administration has engaged in remarkably imprudent borrowing, escalating Nigeria's total debt to approximately N200 trillion. This represents an increase of over N100 trillion within a mere three years, a stark contrast to the roughly N49 trillion accumulated during President Muhammadu Buhari's eight-year tenure, which would have projected to around N80 trillion. As millions of Nigerians grapple with the shock of this unsustainable debt accumulation, the situation is exacerbated by the government's reckless approach to borrowing and a profound absence of accountability and transparency in the utilisation of these funds. For instance, data from the Federation's Budget Office reveals that the Bola Tinubu government borrowed N11.89 trillion in the first three quarters of 2025 (January to September), exceeding the planned borrowing target of N10.34 trillion by approximately N1.54 trillion. Under a responsible and accountable government, such an overshoot would necessitate rigorous scrutiny and explanation from relevant governmental bodies. Regrettably, this is not the reality under the current administration. Compounding this issue, only N3.10 trillion of the borrowed funds was allocated to capital expenditure during the same January-September 2025 period. This constitutes a mere 17.66% of the N17.58 trillion earmarked for capital projects, leaving a deficit of roughly N14.48 trillion, or 82.34% of planned capital expenditure unfunded. The most disturbing aspect of the financial management fiasco under Bola Tinubu is that there is no explanation or information regarding how the balance was utilised or deployed. The question that Nigerians are rightly asking and deserve an answer to is what happened to the balance? Was it deployed for recurrent expenditure/ consumption, for the entertainment of guests to Aso Rock or transferred to the Renewed Hope Agenda 2027 Election Campaign Fund? Nigerians deserve an answer on how our economy and resources are most unpatriotically managed. A New and Productive Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

You built houses for your criminal Party members and loyalist but claim to built for Nigerians. The estate in Abuja you mentioned had already been shared to politicians, leaving ordinary citizens with no chance to secure even one apartment. Your administration is nothing but pains and disappointment to Nigerians. We will vote right come 2027

I will not stand before you and declare the work finished, because it is not. The housing deficit this nation carries is counted in the millions, and it will take years of steady labour to close, and I would rather say that to you plainly than flatter you with a lie. But the difference now is real. For the first time in a generation, the whole housing value-chain is moving together: the land and its title, the building, the materials, the equipment, the finance, and the family at the end of it, and no part waits idle on another. Housing has moved from a welfare conversation to a national growth strategy. Real estate and construction now sit among Nigeria’s major GDP contributors, proving that every affordable home financed is also a factory order, a labour contract, a mortgage asset, a household balance sheet and a contribution to national output. That is what I promised for our housing sector, and that is what is now being delivered. Renewed Hope was never charity. It is the right of every Nigerian to a place called home. When I placed the Renewed Hope Agenda before Nigerians, I did not speak of housing in vague terms. I gave my word that this administration would work to make decent homes affordable again, and that a hardworking family, after years of paying rent, would finally have a path to a house of its own. Let me account for that promise plainly, by juxtaposing what we pledged beside what we have actually achieved. 1/

One APC data girl just delivered herself into the hands of Obidients and they're roasting her like Portharcourt bole. 😂 This girl went and dug out a state document under Peter Obi's tenure in Anambra during 2009. And she started attacking Obi because in the document there were expenses under "Her Excellency." According to her if Obi didn't recognize First Lady, how manage did the state record expenses under "Her Excellency." Well, she didn't know that Obi's deputy during 2009 was a female and was addressed as "Her Excellency." And Obidients are now sparing no effort in teaching the APC data girl history. 😂
