Yes, growth looks strong on paper today - but subsidy bills are exploding, fiscal space is shrinking, global trade risks are rising & cost of living pressure is still hitting ordinary Malaysians daily. Even this article quietly admits PH may lose seats, BN is repositioning itself, PN is fractured & BERSAMA is emerging. That itself shows the political landscape is far from "stable". A snap election now may not be about confidence. It may actually be about trying to lock in a mandate before the economic headwinds, fiscal crunch & political fragmentation become harder to control. Because Malaysians don’t just ask "Is GDP growing?" Rakyat ask- "After years in power, do I genuinely feel more secure, wealthier & optimistic about the future?"
