Bravin Powell of Gardner-Edgerton is a name to watch this season. Powell helped lead the Trailblazers to their first ever state championship (6A) last year after being runner up in 2022. The 2025 ATH had 15 passing TDS to go with 19 rushing. Adding over 2,000 total yards. The SIK All-State Non-Senior said, “Coach O (Jesse Owens) came in and changed the culture of this program. My goal is to make it the next consistent powerhouse of high school football and bring home another state championship to help our class leave a legacy!” #sportsinkansas 📷 credit: ers.videos

Kaleb Dewey was a big part of the Gardner-Edgerton 6A state champion run last fall. The 2025 DB/LB led the team in tackles picking up 90 on the season. Dewey was a Sports in Kansas First Team Non-Senior pick last year. “We are excited to compete and run it back this season.
