I hope that international people get a picture of what South Africans are fighting against.
Calling South Africans xenophobic is ignorant and a failure to analyse the real issues that South Africans are facing with mass immigration from other African countries, legally and illegally. No society improves with the mass influx of immigrants from countries like Nigeria.

After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move on.
I leave with the feeling that the mission is complete. 4 seasons, 3 championships.
I will never forget the love I received from the fans from my very first days.
Catalonia is my place on earth.
Thank you to everyone I met along the way during these beautiful four years.
A special thank you to President Laporta for giving me the chance to live the most incredible chapter of my career.
Barça is back where it belongs.
Visca el Barça. Visca Catalunya 💙❤️

I know we all laugh, but I don’t blame Semenyo for not looking so flashy.
He never went to a traditional football academy just so you know. So he didn’t learn all those academy stuff..control-pass-shoot, all those kinda things.
After secondary school, he went to college in Bristol. The college had a very good football team, and that’s probably why he went to that specific one. Bro left home at 16.
In England, there’s something called DIG, where boys can live with a family that is not their immediate family, away from home. The family will kinda adopt you, and give you a place to stay, treat you like their own, while you go to college, study and do sports also. So, Semenyo was staying with this family in Bristol while going to college.
Don’t also forget that, Semenyo failed trials at Palace, Southampton, Millwall, and some other academies, hence, he decided to study for a BTEC in Sports Science. Remember I always say you must have an option as a footballer, get some education if possible.
The crazy part about his college boys was that, they were very good. They would play friendly games against real football academies and beat them.
The turning point came when his college played against Bristol City academy, and he was spotted. They invited him and the rest in history.
In that set, only Semenyo went on to become a pro footballer from the college.
In his secondary school days, where he failed several trials, a lot of his classmates were actually in academies, but only one went on to become a pro, he plays in Stockport, his name is Tanto Olaofe.
Football hard…we can drag Semenyo for his recent inconsistencies, but we should give him credit because getting to this level is a crazy feat entirely.

See as Semenyo leg over fat 😭😂

@kosisobright @MLS There was a player down playing him offside but that goal shouldn't have counted

@Khvicha_final @TouchlineX Ai response because you didn't watch the first leg in Madrid
English

so let me get this straight… instead of fixing the way the team plays, the solution is to run from a hotel like it’s haunted 😭 this is elite level superstition. arsenal didn’t beat you because of the building, they outplayed you in every department. changing hotels won’t fix fear or tactics. at some point you’ve gotta stop blaming vibes and actually take responsibility on the pitch or it’s just going to be the same story in a different room
English

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Diego Simeone reportedly ordered Atletico Madrid to change their hotel in London at the last minute.
He did not want to stay in the same hotel where they stayed in October, when they lost 4-0 to Arsenal.
In the press conference, he said that Atleti only switched hotels because it was cheaper, but rumors suggest otherwise.

English

@ChampionsLeague @Heineken Yet, some set of people want to put this game down to poor defensive play, rather than amazing attacking football in full display. Sad

EFCC jumping over your fence to Arrest at midnight is that even legal?
Many people believe:
“If EFCC comes for you at night, then you must be guilty.”
That is not how the law works.
Yes, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has the power to arrest and investigate crimes but power is not the same thing as unlimited power.
Here’s the truth
Breaking into someone’s house at midnight, jumping fences, or forcing entry is a serious legal issue.
Under the law:
🥢 Your home is protected
🥢 Your privacy is protected
🥢 Your dignity is protected
Even law enforcement must follow due process.
In most cases, to enter your house
👉 There should be a valid warrant
👉 The operation should follow proper procedure
👉 Excessive force or intimidation can be challenged
Now here’s where it gets interesting…
If an arrest is carried out illegally:
🥢 It can be challenged in court
🥢 Evidence obtained may be questioned
🥢 The entire case can even be weakened
Let me say this clearly as a lawyer
The EFCC can arrest you but they cannot ignore the law while doing it. No agency is above the law. Not even the EFCC.
So the next time you see a viral video of officers jumping fences at midnight don’t just shout “He’s guilty!”
Ask the real question:
“Was this done according to the law?”
Because how you are arrested matters just as much as why you are arrested.
Now be honest did you know this before today?

🚨 BREAKING: Barça has submitted a complaint to UEFA after Hansi Flick inspected the Metropolitano pitch during yesterday's training session.
Atlético Madrid insists that it is the same as always and therefore meets UEFA's requirements.
The Barça coach was not convinced about the dimensions of the surface.
UEFA has responded to Barça saying that they will check and trim it if necessary, as there is a protocol in place for such situations.
The controversy recalls a similar situation in 2016, again involving Barcelona and Atlético in the quarter-finals, when Barça complained about the pitch at the Vicente Calderón.

Please don’t watch the leaked Avatar. This isn’t just about early access or hype, it affects real people who spent years bringing it to life. From animators to editors to VFX artists, so many jobs and livelihoods are tied to the success of the official release.
Leaks take away proper credit, reduce support for the people behind the scenes, and can even put future projects at risk. If you truly respect the work, the talent, and the effort that went into it, wait for the official release and support it the right way

OPERATION HADIN KAI: AIR COMPONENT NEUTRALISES TERRORIST LOGISTICS HUB AND ENCLAVE IN PRECISION AIR STRIKE AT JILLI, GUBIO LGA OF BORNO STATE
The Air Component of Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in a carefully planned and intelligence-driven operation, has successfully conducted a precision air strike on a known terrorist enclave and logistics hub located near the abandoned village of Jilli in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State. The successful strike, executed on 11 April 2026, followed sustained intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions over the Bindul–Jilli axis, an area long identified as a major terrorist movement corridor and convergence point for Islamic State West Africa Province terrorists and their collaborators.
It will be recalled that in January 2026, troops moving from Gubio towards Damasak came under a major Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack along the road at Bindul, resulting in the tragic loss of eight soldiers, while several others were wounded in action. More recently, on 9 April, coordinated attacks were recorded in Ngamdu and Benisheik, supported by the same terrorist logistics network. Consequently, the Theatre intensified overhead surveillance and intelligence gathering across the area in response to persistent reports of terrorist movement and logistics activity.
On 11 April 2026, multiple reports were received of ISWAP Gun Trucks(GT) and Motorcycles (MC) moving along the axis. Consequently, ISR coverage over the area was immediately intensified. During the surveillance mission, a contingent of motorcycles was observed moving in the direction of Jilli, followed shortly by the movement of several additional vehicles, all converging on the same location. These suspicious movements were subsequently corroborated by credible human intelligence sources, confirming that the converging elements were terrorists, their collaborators, and logistics handlers. In line with established operational procedures, a rigorous and professional targeting process was undertaken. Target fidelity was confirmed through multiple credible Human Intelligence sources, supported by persistent aerial surveillance. Upon final validation, the Air Component executed a series of precision strikes on the objective, while Surveillance platforms maintained continuous overwatch for real-time battle damage assessment.
Post-strike assessment confirmed that the target area was struck with high accuracy, resulting in the destruction of the identified terrorist logistics enclave. Scores of terrorists were neutralised in the strike, with their vehicles and technicals destroyed, while surviving elements were observed fleeing in multiple directions. Intelligence further indicates that the neutralised elements were in the final stages of receiving logistics from couriers, for coordinated attacks on troop locations within the Gubio axis. This decisive action has therefore significantly disrupted imminent terrorist plans and degraded their operational capability within the Theatre.
Instructively, on 12 April 2026, a terrorist logistics courier identified as “Turja Bulu”, was arrested at Ngamdu Town, and upon preliminary investigation confessed that he took part in the attack at 29 Bde location on 9 April 2026 at Benisheik and had been dispatched by ISWAP from Jilli where most of his fellow terrorists were hibernating to provide food items for another group of terrorists currently hibernating around the Magumeri-Gubio General Area.
