The footage allegedly shows the man attacking the elderly woman with punches, kicks and a beer crate while bystanders watched. The grandmother was left lying on the tavern floor following the alleged assault. The video spread widely on social media platforms after the incident. According to reports, the grandmother had gone to the tavern after discovering that her pension grant money was missing. When she questioned her grandson about the missing funds, he allegedly became violent and assaulted her. The incident reportedly occurred at the local tavern in eMagogeni.
