Religious freedom is well protected in China’s Xizang. The Western media have been lying to you. I’m currently in Xizang, and honestly, I often feel sympathetic towards the locals, for their lives seem extremely tough. But I was told there’s no need to pity them. They hold a devout faith and never see their lives as suffering. We ought to respect their beliefs.

서울경제TV가 "중국인 서울 강남 아파트 944채 기습매수..다주택자 던진 물량 싹쓸이" 이런 가짜 영상기사를 냈다가 지금은 삭제 했습니다. 확인해보니 1~4월 간 강남구 집합건물 중국인 매수는 5명 불과 등 명백한 허위기사입니다. 혐중 선동재료로 사용될 수 있게 의도적으로 만든 가짜뉴스 기사로 추정됩니다. 명색이 언론, 그것도 경제언론인데 혐중을 부추겨 나라와 국민에 무슨 도움이 되겠습니까. 엄중하게 책임을 물어야겠지요?

@CTankie1917 I’ve got a great idea. Getting a Chinese mainland ID as a foreigner is ridiculously hard — why not just go for a Taiwanese one instead? After all, unification is bound to happen eventually, so wouldn’t that be much easier? 😏

I've lived in China for many years too — otherwise I might have believed you. Religious life here is unique: different faiths coexist peacefully. Family members can even follow completely different religions, and the offices of the five major faiths can share the same building in total harmony🤣 You personally saw catholic nuns beaten to death? Phones were already everywhere eight years ago. Something that shocking, and you didn’t take a single photo? Please give the exact time, place, and year. Private prayer with friends at home? People do that every single day with zero problems. Extraordinary claims need evidence. Got any?🙃

Only bad people fear cameras—they’re actually very friendly to ordinary folks. You usually don’t even notice them, but the moment someone kills, sets a fire, or steals something, they get caught right away. That’s exactly why China has almost no thieves: you can safely pick up your own deliveries, and girls can walk the streets alone at 1 or 2 in the morning without worry. Sacrificing a bit of privacy for this level of safety is completely acceptable.

This is a classic cultural misunderstanding.😂 China has almost no thieves, and stores are packed with security cameras anyway. The shop assistants who follow you around are simply trying to make your shopping easier and provide better service. Apply an American mindset to China or any other country — and you’ll reach completely wrong conclusions.
