Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws.

@Safety_Canada Provincial governments and police leaders have spoken load and clear: this is BAD PUBLIC POLICY. This silly, ideologically motivated approach needs to be reversed. Please park this nonsense. Public Safety Canada has way better things to spend its finite resources on.

There is still time for businesses in possession of firearms prohibited in May 2020, December 2024 or March 2025 to submit a claim through the program’s online portal. You have until June 4 to submit your claim: canada.ca/en/public-safe…

@NoGunsInCanada @PrairieVeteran @RudiGunn67 Where did the knives used in the 2022 Saskatchewan and 2024 Ottawa mass stabbings come from? Who was Marco Muzzo’s leasing company? Irrelevant. There’s no trend, no nexus between between cause and effect. It’s a stupid question.

We see this more and more from our law enforcement. The guns on our streets originate in the US. NOT CANADIAN GUN OWNERS. And anti-gun nuts will try to change the narrative and move to asking where their accessories come from. 🤭 The fact of the matter is, our streets ARE NOT SAFER after the gun bans. NOT SAFER with the freeze on handgun sales. NOT safer having people forced to turn in their guns. Our streets ARE NOT SAFER because this govt focuses on ignoring the real problem which IS NOT licensed gun owners. If this govt wanted to save some dignity, they would scrap the gun grab and reverse the bans and use the monies for them to combat actual crime.

Stephen J. Tanner, Chief of the Halton Regional Police Service, spoke at a press conference announcing “Project Cyprus,” a major drug trafficking investigation that led to the largest firearms seizure in the history of the service. Says that all 24 handguns recovered in the operation originated in the USA, he goes on to say "The vast majority of crime guns in Halton region and surrounding areas originate from the US, in fact recent police data shows that in most jurisdictions around 90% of handguns recovered in violent crimes are traced back to the US"

@PrairieVeteran Bans require enforcement and that uses up limited police resources. Finite time, $ and experience are diverted to efforts that are proven not to work. We are thus LESS SAFE when we are paying for these ideological/optics-first solutions used to address real-world problems.

@NoGunsInCanada Every day, far-left activists, with ever-growing lists of flags in their profiles, fabricate data to support their bogus claims.

@PrairieVeteran Seized Ruzzian assets that we couldn’t otherwise use. They are pretending it’s generosity. They could have given a lot more away at once but instead are giving it away in bundles for the communications value. LPC always puts optics first.

‼️MAJOR BREAKING - Canadian government implements WIDESPREAD publicity bans on its parliamentary committees. In lockstep, the Chairs are using "dilatory motions" to shut down EVERYTHING. This, only weeks after getting a majority via traitorous floor crossing. This is total secrecy being implemented at the science committee today which is investigating the concrete pad spaceport.

@FoodProfessor Carney, like Trudeau, puts ideology first. He’s adopted Xi and Putin’s multi-polar world view. The provinces are forced into damage control.

BREAKING: Christine Fréchette, Quebec’s newly appointed premier, is heading to Washington, D.C. to engage on trade. While Ottawa seems content pretending the U.S. doesn’t exist, several premiers are spending significant time south of the border strengthening ties with our largest trading partner.

@DrunknCanuck @BenMulroney It wasn’t close. The Liberals won by wide margin both in seats and popular vote. Combined the outcome would have been a Liberal majority because they lied about the GST. If they told the truth the outcome would have been different.

@DrunknCanuck @BenMulroney That’s false. Chrétien just rode Mulroney’s coattails. It was the success of the GST and free trade. The election results are clear. Manning had no impact. It was the lie about scrapping the GST that won the election.

That's just false Chretien was the greatest economic Steward in Canadas history. Mulroney was decent and perhaps one could argue built the ladder Chretien used to climb to the top. But Mulroney also saw his own party fracture, the rise of Preston Manning Reform, their take over of Conservatism in Canada.

@CanadianJohn3 @BenMulroney That doesn’t change the massive success of his policies that nobody has come close to replicating. Moreover, that result was because the party that won lied abt scrapping the GST and people were dumb enough to buy it.

@PrairieVeteran We vote for people within parties. That’s why the First Past the Post system with 2 big parties is an issue for NDPers and others in fringe movements. They want a system like most EU countries where lunatic fringe parties’ votes matter.

@BRICSinfo So is chyna going to change course and stop using its military to bully Taiwan and the Philippines? Is the PLA being directed to stop its constant cyberattacks against Canada and the US? If chyna became civilized it would stop it facing a “deep disaster” like Iran.
