Why Grand Avenue when you could have a full Muppet Square? Baseline can be a Muppet bar, or based on a muppet workshop instead of a printing company. Make Mama Melrose’s the muppet restaurant it was supposed to be. Have a live muppet show in the rooms above the storefronts.

Ok @robertiger @disneyparks 1st one’s free: Take the “Cars in Frontierland”boondoggle budget, spend 1/4 on a “Princess and the Frog” overlay to Rivers of America, and take a 1/4 to bring back Magical Express so people stay on property. There’s 42 sq mi. to put Cars if needed.

I know no one cares about this but it’s also one of the only things my father loves about Disney. I have some great memories of us on that boat & figured I’d have that place to revisit & remember him at some point. It’s just heartbreaking to lose something you love for nothing.

Also fascinating that the cars stuff is only taking up the space of the front River loop, and the guest walking path will literally be exactly where the River used to be. Seems like villains land might be inside the railroad.

Well that’s depressing, ROA is the freaking heart of the park. Definitely thought this was going behind thunder. I don’t really understand, there’s so many ways this could have been added without taking that core away. MK as usual gets it’s unique design completely disrespected.

@GoAwayGreen Six Flags Great Adventure didn’t have an explanation for why there was a Johnny Rocket’s Diner in-park. This is the bar now, I believe.

@kevinwelch You know how Stitch’s Great Escape closed, but then would open up seasonally occasionally? I think that’s where the show is now, but nothing to report right now!

@futureport82 I’m working on a theory on this: I think because it doesn’t have the narration heavy style, the algorithm doesn’t know quite what to do with it: Far fewer keywords to pull. But for us humans, @Defunctland did a great job!

The new Defunctland video is of course great. But it's heartbreaking that it's getting more views than the brilliant and experimental Symphonic History of EPCOT Center.
Creators are disincentivized from creativity.
