Survived my 2nd session of cane training! Absolutely loving the freedom and challenge. Huge thanks to my amazing instructor Colette from @VisionIreland for all the positive feedback. Excited to learn bus station routes next month! For now, I need to chill #exhausted lol

@BlondeHistorian I am so sorry that the NHS treats you in this way. This is so awful for you and my husband has by reading this been very lucky. He has never been refused entry to health care with his guide dog, even being allowed to take his dog to visit him when he was in hospital.

@BlondeHistorian @RNIB My husband is blind, I had to go with him and he told me who he wanted to vote for before getting to the booth. You just have to trust a partner/friend to put that cross in the correct place.
