@sapphix8ed If she wants to be a good music director, wouldn't it be smarter to put in tracks people resonate with. Like, guardians of the Galaxy has a bunch of hits. Great music. Imagine if guardians of the Galaxy had a bunch of niche music that no one knew.

@PaulHadouken I don't think the studio with 2 games and 14 employees is a AAA studio lets be honest
mixtape was a passion project, a playable art film. it wasn't supposed to sell gangbusters and be universally loved, it was supposed to get a small cult audience with people who appreciated it

The level of hate Mixtape is getting for it's critic reviews is pretty unprecedented for how harmless the game actually is
its not actually "woke" or DEI in any way and no agendas are being pushed. just teenage and music nerd cringe for people who are nostalgic for those time.
it quite literally not a game made for everyone and if you didn't connect with it that's ok!
but do we really need to hear how much you dislike it whenever someone says they enjoy it? that's the real cringe tbh
