@chomakovg Living in Bournemouth and watching some games this season, I really think he fits the Liverpool mould. He often pops up doing something round the community, has a strong identity with his game plan and what I like most is he plays players where they can influence that position.

Yup. The heavy metal part is where he is obviously having a bigger dig but we are also quick to forget during the end of the heavy metal era he wasnt as happy either. I dont think anything wrong or bad really just looking to every side. I think loads of context is missing to judge it ,clearly a problem/something big happened behind the scenes at some point.

@chomakovg We’ve seen in the RM v BM game last night and again with PSG tonight how they attack with speed and close down, exactly what we did 2/3 years ago. It takes us so long now to get up the pitch! We now have no identity

PSG are so good as a team but so good individually. They are dragging so many of our defenders out and countering. Too easy and PSG are so good. Have to give them credit.

@chomakovg I’ve gone into games worried before but never frightened like this time. Genuinely hope that Paris freezes over and the game gets called off!! So want it to be a good performance and get to Anfield with a chance!

@PaulTW2 @chomakovg Speed the build up and who does 1v1s? Cody? Salah? Even Rio proved he isn’t ready. It’s all well and good speeding up build up, but if there’s no one up top, it’s pointless.

I have said it many times…i think Iraola has been so good at Bournemouth. The amount of players they have sold and how thin of a squad they have and how good they are performing. Fair play.

@Realaldo474 Our build up play John is so slow, we give time for the opposition’ to get in behind the ball, the press has gone and we now have no identity! I’ve never been one to jump on the bandwagon but Slot is not doing himself any favours with this philosophy!

defensively i couldn't believe what i saw at times !dont need to point fingers we all seen it. Shows are deficiencies at CH !!!Joes injury prone Konate is Konate,we need a CH who can just defend and pass the ball to any of the other 3 defenders. PS and see results out. Top 4/5 will be tight ynwa

@chomakovg I thought we looked better balanced, won a lot of the second balls, showed determination and looked solid. A big performance and hope we can start from here.

@chomakovg Given half a choice, this would be my 11 for West Ham. Allison - Ramsey, Gomez, VVD, Robbo - Gravenberch, Macca, Szobo - Ekitike, Isak, Chiesa I don’t get why he plays our best midfielder at RB when we still have options with a recognised defender.

Honestly, just give the ball to Szobo and let him shoot from 40 yards and hope for the best. Probably our only hope of getting a shot off anyway

@chomakovg That’s very true. 50 years of supporting this club and can recall some real hard times, I hope to never see them again, which is why I praise FSG for building us into the club we are today!
