That’s not all, Nigeria also spends a significant amount of money on recurrent expenditure, approximately N13 trillion, spent on salaries, overheads, pensions, etc. Combined together with the debt servicing fee, that is approximately N27 trillion, now minus that from the total revenue Nigeria earns from exports, trading and investments, which is N36 trillion, what will be left is approximately N9 trillion, which is not enough for Infrastructure, development, healthcare, security and long term growth, this is why the Nigerian government keeps borrowing money to meet up for this sectors, the country is broke, and out of that N9 trillion that remains, 30% will go to corruption and embezzlement, literally leaving the country with peanuts and not enough to develop it, The debt we owe N150 trillion, is bigger than our revenue, profit we make N36 trillion. This country is broke and has no money, make una stop to Dey say “money Dey this country” statistics doesn’t lie, data and analysis doesn’t lie, there’s no hidden treasury, the country is broke.
