Universal precautions is a concept of infection control that has been highlighted agin by current hysteria: Treat everyone with respect and suspicion - it could be you? But with good basic precautions it probably will not affect you or your family in the future.

Watching the Medicines and Medical Devices bill reading - @Dr_PhilippaW claimed Surgical Care Practitioners are unregistered professionals like PAs, this is incorrect - they are professionals like ODPs (HCPC) and Nurses (NMC). ODPs in advanced roles need prescribing @MattHancock
