@ednewtonrex Spotify have been a blot on the music industry, artists, bands and creators long before Ai. They’re the gold standard of how to rip off an industry, push down payments to zero & reinvest the money in things like war-drones. An abhorrent company funded by public complacency.

Spotify's new 'Verified' badge is a non-solution to the AI music problem. It risks punishing human artists who don't have the markers the verification is based on, like concerts or merch. A fairer and more effective solution would be automatically detecting & labelling AI music - as other streaming platforms and music distributors do. Blimey. It was 10-years ago that a very good friend needed help. Help arrived. We walked from Canary Wharf to St Katherine’s Dock, and that little act of kindness gave us both back enough faith to keep on keeping on. Moral is; When friends need your help: Go ♥️

@David_Gunkel @AmazonMGMStudio I absolutely adored the book. I also really adored the movie… but probably because I adored the book so much. It wasn’t that they butchered or got the film wrong, you can only cram so much into a 2.5 hour movie. It’s very faithful, just compressed.

It should be called "Project Failed Mary," because what you get is a galactic-scale existential crisis + fun buddy road trip movie with a cheap-ass dollar store version of "Arrival's" alien communication problem pasted into the middle of it all. Thank you not, @AmazonMGMStudio
