@Nekkid_Ape @ElectrekCo I thought the text of the BBB from the Senate Science, Commerce and Transportation Committee zeroed the penalties for failing to meet CAFE standards - is that not part of what the Senate is considering? What is the separate action? Gutting CAFE penalties is the bigger threat.

@stevenshapiro @nowteslafy Robotaxi - in my opinion - will be easier to solve in the geofenced mode rather than the current "everywhere" FSD. Solve if in geofenced, then expand the capabilities outwards into supervised FSD - charge me for full autonomy in the geofenced areas.
English

@stevenshapiro @nowteslafy I have a 2022 M3 with HW3 - FSD is not bad - it just isn't what was promised. I likely will cancel my subscription. Want to drive up resale prices of HW3 cars? Make FSD as it is the replacement for Autopilot at no charge - and make whole those who paid for FSD outright.
English

The list is growing! Just needs regulatory approval. Will we see approval by the end of the year for some of these counties?
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt
We've now seen Tesla's FSD Supervised being used in: • Italy • Netherlands • France • Australia • Canada • U.S. • China • Mexico Did I miss any?
English

@stevenshapiro @nowteslafy I think Tesla has a demand problem right now - making the current "supervised" version the default would likely heal some brand damage and create some more demand. Let them focus on full autonomy on the robotaxi.
English

Hello team @Tesla_AI, one more video. FSD seems to be bias to the left side of any lane I’m in. Sometimes it even rides the lane line. This is concerning because debris such as nails typically reside in these areas of the roadway.
Can this be corrected? V12.6.4, HW3 Model S.
English

@martinmbauer I wonder how many of those American citizens that Vance refers to - the ones who put humanity on the moon - were immigrants?
English

@FSDdreams @Tesla_AI To be like a human, FSD should have observed the truck blocking the lane and moved before it was forced to stop. The FSD "vision horizon" is far shorter than a human - if you see stopped traffic way ahead, FSD will not start to react until quite close resulting in hard braking
English

@PrestoStrangeO @cybertruck @Tesla @WhamBaamX Can FSD handle a hotel check-in / valet loop? A toll-booth? A border check-point? A fast-food drive through? A parking garage entry-gate or payment booth? An incredible amount of progress has been made, but autonomy will need to be geo-restricted for a while.
English

Cybertruck FSD crashes into coworkers car. Not a good look, I was showing a friend how awesome FSD is. We drove up the street and back and this is how it pulled into a parking spot. @cybertruck @Tesla @WhamBaamX I’ve logged thousands upon thousands of FSD miles and this has never happened.
English

@PrestoStrangeO @cybertruck @Tesla @WhamBaamX FSD is likely close to the threshold required for full autonomy for "routine tasks" - I don't worry it is going to leave the lane and drive head-on into someone. I worry when it encounters strange lane markings or obstructions for construction or accidents or detours.
English

@PrestoStrangeO @cybertruck @Tesla @WhamBaamX For humans, many driving accidents happen on routine tasks but for FSD the issue seems to be around edge cases - rare situations that aren't resolved in training. We routinely encounter these as humans without problems as we pay attention when something is new.
English

@PrestoStrangeO @cybertruck @Tesla @WhamBaamX I have 12.6.4 on my Tesla Model 3 - I have a similar issue when it tries to steer into my driveway except replace the Toyota with a maple tree. The car decides to go wide and aims at the tree every time.
English

@MeidasTouch I think the official response to this is "reading is for nerds!"

🚨 CBS News has received an internal NSA bulletin from Feb 2025 warning staff NOT to use Signal app for sensitive info, citing vulnerabilities to Russian hackers. These docs were sent pre-Houthi chat scandal with Jeffrey Goldberg. cbsnews.com/news/nsa-signa…

@USA_Polling This is a poll of Americans, right? Do Americans have opinions on Carney and Poilievre? Do Canadians have opinions on Newsom or Jeffries?
English

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla Tesla is great - the CEO is the problem. Destroying the brand and threatening all those jobs and their equity. Remember that the vox populi is protesting Musk through Tesla. Without Musk, people love Tesla. With Musk - not so much.
English

@RonFilipkowski Starlink is a great product - but not happy with Musk having the on-off switch. Definitely would not vote for that.
English

I really thought Trump was the biggest crybaby involved in politics. But Elon is making a run at the title.
Acyn@Acyn
Musk: I always thought that Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy.. I’ve never done anything harmful, I’ve only done productive things: this doesn't make any sense. I think there are larger forces at work.
English

@RonFilipkowski I have two Teslas - love the cars. Would not buy another one though. Couldn't persuade most of the people I know to buy one either anymore. People aren't protesting Tesla - they are protesting Musk and Tesla is in the way of the "vox populi".
English

@fredlambert Again, it is a colossal shame as there are so many engineering advantages for an electric vehicle as well as the environmental benefit. It isn't just his political actions, Musk has been neglecting Tesla management. Not introducing new models and destroying the brand?
English

Tesla's brand destruction will be studied in universities and featured in history books.
Elon cultists and $TSLA all-ins are clinging to the hope that conservatives are going to buy EVs - replacing the progressive market, but it's not the right way to look at it.
Cars are not supposed to be political.
It's true that progressives are more inclined to buy EVs, but even if a significant percentage of conservatives do buy Tesla vehicles, Tesla is still screwed because it alienated roughly half the market.
How many companies you know are doing well after doing that? Tesla is basically the new MyPillow.
Elon dissolved Tesla's PR team to become the company's only official mouthpiece – making it hard to dissociate him from Tesla, and then he became highly political – dragging Tesla into it.
Then, he literally used his wealth from Tesla, selling stocks, to finance the most controversial US politician ever.
That alone is ridiculously stupid for Tesla. Then, add a couple salutes, highly problematic tweets, messy DOGE, etc.
It is hard to comprehend that $TSLA all-ins are still trying to spin this as a positive for Tesla. They are standing by while Tesla's brand is being destroyed—and I'm the one being called a "Tesla hater."
