You are dumber than you are fat. His agenda is already being stymied in the Senate. They refuse to let him make recess appointments or pass the SAVE Act with a talking filibuster (which is what the filibuster actually is).

@DastDn If Ds didn't win TX in 2020, I have a hard time believing they'll win it now. 2020 had an unpopular, extremely polarizing incumbent, a strong challenger (people forget that about 2020 Biden), and Ds got the turnout bombs they needed in the urban areas, and still lost by 5.58

I don't think Talarico will beat Paxton.
Texas was growing bluer & the fear of losing it to the Dems was reasonable - about a decade ago.
A massive Latino move toward the GOP rewrote the framework. Trump is undoing some of those gains but not enough to make a difference in TX.

The reality here is Ken Paxton can win Texas. But the lift to get him across the finish line will take money away from Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, and other states. It'll be a pyrrhic victory for the GOP.

Trafficking occurs anytime someone arranges the transportation of a minor for purposes of sex. In Epstein’s case, Maxwell and other women were scouting young girls for Epstein, telling them they would get paid a lot of money if they went to Epstein’s and did things with him, and arranging for the girls to travel to his properties. That is trafficking.
He wasn’t stuffing people in shipping containers. This is the kind of thing a rich guy can do without everyone knowing about it. Epstein was a very rich pervert who paid young girls to have sex with him. This did not require a vast conspiracy and there is nothing evidence there was one.
He was doing this for many years, but there’s little evidence Trump or Clinton or Alan Dershowitz or Chelsea Handler or whoever knew about it.

Jeffrey Epstein was a Democrat donor and Obama supporter. Trump and Epstein had a falling out and never spoke after they got in a feud over a house they both wanted in 2004, well before Epstein’s sex crimes were exposed by his first criminal conviction in 2008.
Progressives like to talk about how Trump’s name appears hundreds of times in the Epstein files, but this is because Epstein was an MSNBC-watching boomer lib who was constantly complaining about Trump to anyone who would listen to him whine. There are no communications between Trump and Epstein in any of the emails.
A lot of people seem to believe that the Epstein files contain emails between Trump and Epstein, but this is progressive misinformation. The fact that so many people think this is also evidence of the fact that public perception of the Epstein files is mostly based on memes and people don’t have any idea what the Epstein files are, or what they contain.

It would be very convenient for Republicans if this were true but it is not . As has been explained to them a million times: 1. VT only has one district 2. NH districts were drawn by a Republican governor and legislature. They just haven’t been able to win one. 3. Maine has one district that voted for Trump 3 times (by 6-9 points) but they keep losing it. 4. Mass and RI geography makes it nearly impossible to draw a Republican seat. At most, they’re missing out on 1 weirdly configured district. 5. CT maps are the same as they were in 2002 when drawn by a GOP Governor. 6. Before this year, there were already tons of red states with more than one district that have no blue districts: Oklahoma, Arkansas, West Virginia, Idaho, Montana, Utah (before recent court decision). There also states, like Maine, where Dems have a friendly district but haven’t been able to win it (Nebraska, Iowa).
