It’s more than awkward - it’s disingenuous. Not once has the First Minister condemned these cuts. We heard that she had written in support of them. Now she’s trying to deflect the political damage. Publish the letter if that’s not the case!

This is awkward... The Secretary of State for Wales says the First Minister supports Westminster’s brutal welfare cuts. The First Minister says she’s waiting for an impact assessment that won’t come. What is clear is that Labour is failing Wales.

Currently, 18 of Wales’ 22 local authorities have support similar motions. We are hoping Cardiff Council will pass tonight…

Plaid Cymru councillors in Cardiff, Rhys Livesy and Andrea Gibson, tabled a motion calling on Cardiff Council to support the devolution of the Crown Estate to Wales. Cardiff Council pay nearly £37,000 in lease fees to the Crown.
