I have realised if you want to criticise someone, it should come from a place of love, otherwise, why even bother, and if you are just offloading your hatred/emotion onto others through words, people of course would not take it, and you shouldn't want to do that.
if the critique comes from a place of love, you would want to put thoughts into how the message is conveyed and carefully choosing your words. so there are metrics to measure against, so that you don't fool yourself at times.
don't let emotion override you.

@agintender this article is actually amazing, defs worth the time and focus to read it.

i think this is a very fair point, we are in an attention economy and memecoin is a sort of extreme byproduct of it.
by that extent, maybe seeing more babies on social media can revive the birth rate, what if we start a wave of posting baby memes everywhere and see how it goes.
Tanya@Tanyaelisabeth
For most of human history, women did not experience children as some rare interruptions to adult life. Babies were everywhere, in arms, on hips, asleep in slings, playing under tables while bread was kneaded and laundry was folded. A young girl did not grow up in a world separated from motherhood. So how can women want babies when they rarely see babies? A baby changes the atmosphere of a room, people smile more, they speak softer, they are gentler, there is more joy. Perhaps the desire for children has not disappeared nearly as much as we think. Perhaps many women have simply been separated from the very thing that used to awaken that desire in their hearts.

While Bitcoin gets a lot of attention, it hasn’t played the safe-haven role many expected. In my view, there are a few reasons why.
First, Bitcoin lacks privacy. Transactions can be monitored and potentially controlled, which is why central banks aren’t looking to hold it.
Second, it also has a high correlation with tech stocks. When investors get squeezed in other areas of their portfolio, they sell their Bitcoin to cover it.
Third, it’s a relatively small and controllable market, whereas gold stands alone. There is only one gold.
Ultimately, gold is more widely held, deeply established, and still plays a central role in the global system.

More than half of Zcash appear to be in "long term storage."
- In the transparent pool 30.4% of coins have not moved in more than a year
- 20% have not moved in more than 3 years.
- 30.8% are in the shielded pools
Either way you add these two numbers up (20% + 30.8% or 30.4% + 30.8%) you end up at more than half.

@dotcuriouscat the courage to write this is respected, and very good points too. we are chasing asymmetric upside, not limited upside in crypto in general.

@trevor_flipper i actually didn't know phantom was doing that much volume until i saw this post, thanks for pointing that out.
anyway if ton strength lasts, you think it's a good chance to long $lit purely as a narrative play of being tg default perp?
English

yesterday was a good day for tg perps. i really didnt expect to see this much volume from tg perps. most wallet based perps dont do much volume (ex phantom ofc) and even the meme trading terminal platforms dont do much in perp volume. i do think pavel being dictator at ton is quite bullish this perp product over time. a slow burner imo.

Crypto Chao.🕯️@manud_p
That didn’t take long
