The 3-seed Wild should not have to play the 2-seed Stars in Round 1… and then the 1-seed Avalanche in Round 2. 82 games should matter. A 104-point season should matter. The Regular Season should matter.

@DataDInvesting Interesting , we still get percentiles where I live, it creates healthy competition with my kid and his friends.

When I was a kid and we got standardized test scores back, it would give quantitative scores and percentiles. All my kids tests just have below grade level, at grade level, or above grade level. Sometimes there is a quantitative score, but it doesn't really have a scale or comparison table. Is this a deliberate change to move away from comparing students against each other to make sure people's feelings don't get hurt, or is there another root cause for this?

@ImKingGinger UBI already exists at some level with welfare and Medicaid. In theory, this just raises the standard for it. The problem is when people aren’t incentivized to create, they become detrimental to society, regardless of their wealth status. I think that is the bigger risk here.
