God I’m in tears in court right now after 7months of fighting for a teenager that was raped and aborted for, they tried to sabotaged this case through the DPP but I fought tooth and nail and made sure I obtained my own certified true copy and pushed ahead with every resources available to me and today judgement was served, the pedophile is going on trial and finally moving from the magistrate court to the high court where he would be formerly jailed for his crimes. I never stopped at the court but followed it up at the DPP and finally yesterday I was given my own copy 😍 I was vilified for standing by this young girl, most of the men in her compound who are pedophile apologist called me all sorts of names and threaten me, one even called me gay just but I dealt with them fully and even sued one to court and he was begging for his life not to enter jail. Today I’m having the last laugh,I have always fought for children and teenagers to be free from the shackles of pedophiles and today th

A 13yrs old girl born and brought in the northern part of kaduna came to Lagos a virgin , a 46yrs old pedophile saw the innocent girl and started grooming her and seeing she had no parental guidance, not only R A P E her but also aborted for the girl in the space of two years. All was broke loose when during the 3rd pregnancy he bought a pill for her to take and after taking it the now 15yrs old girl was bleeding for days and sensing her life was in danger she went to the general hospital and it was there she revealed what the pedophile has been doing to her for years and I was called in, this man groomed her in so many ways unimaginable,he was arrested and charged to court and later sent to prison pending when the final verdict is due. Funniest thing is that the people living in the building who claims to be educated and well traveled are begging me to forgive this pedophile, not wanting him to do full jail time for his evil, this people are not even concerned about what he has done to the poor girl and how to rehabilitate her. Some of this residents of the building tried to victim blame the girl but I stood by her and called it off, I will be going for the 3rd appearance of the pedophile next month and would be there to see him get his full sentencing. Forgiveness my foot

Colon (:) introduces something. You usually use it when what comes after is a list, or an explanation, or even a reveal. An example is “she had one rule: never apologize” or “this is a list of things you should get from the market: eggs, tomatoes…” It’s also used as the eyes in a smiley face :) Semicolon (;) connects two complete thoughts that are related but could stand alone as separate sentences. It’s stronger than a comma but softer than a full stop. An example is “Frank never apologized; he didn't think he was wrong” It’s also used as the eyes in a winking face ;)

All my life, I've only written exams in two languages - English and Yoruba. I have just stepped out of an exam hall where I had to write it's entirety in Italian. Pass rate for Indigenous Italians is 58%. 8 out of 10 immigrants fail. I wrote on first trial and made 100%.

I hope you give yourself permission to celebrate how far you've come. Every step you've taken, every obstacle you've overcome, every time you chose to keep going. It all matters. You're building something beautiful, and even if it doesn't look finished yet, it's already more impressive than you realize. Be proud of yourself.

I figured out how to increase what I earned. This thing has little to do with your skills and nothing to do with the difficulty of your job. Over sabi and ITK will not allow people to learn. I get it that you know your worth o, but you will learn basic economics whether you like it or not.

I was assigned as the Biology teacher for SS2. On my first day walking into the class, I could already sense the imminent disrespect. They laughed behind me and made noise. I did my best to calm them, but nothing worked. After that class, a girl brought out donuts to sell during break. I told her to give each person in the class one donut, and I paid. That was it. They became respectful in class, came to me with their problems, and listened during lessons. I occasionally bought them donuts as reward 😅 Students from other classes who didn’t offer Biology heard about it and started attending my class just to eat donuts.

Some people believe that storytellers rule the world. That humans are wired for stories. Maybe. But what is the purpose of a story? Isn’t it to sell something? So I believe that salespeople rule the world. And my larger point here is that you should see that "Technical presentation" as a sales pitch. Your career will depend in large part on your ability to convey technical content to a non-technical audience. The earlier you get this, the faster you win. Thank you. And I love you.

Shell and other companies usually include a “technical presentation" as part of the interview process. I had one the day before my Shell Recruitment Day. Presented to a bunch of folks from the Technical Safety Engineering team. One of the biggest scams in the corporate world is in that name – technical presentation – because I can assure you that the last thing they want is something technical. I have seen so many smart candidates fall for this. You think you impressed them. But the next thing you get is a rejection email. Because nobody is actually evaluating your technical skill. They are looking for something else entirely. (I wish they’d just be more honest about this.)🧵

Yesterday was really, really good. 🎉 🎉 I’m honored to have received 2 awards: 1. 2026 Outstanding Student Award for PhD in Data Science and Analytics. 2. Computing Day PhD Research Award: 3rd Place. Education is derived from two Latin verbs, educare and educere. - Educare means to rear, train, or nourish. - Educere means to lead out, draw out, or bring forth. My PhD journey at @kennesawstate has been a combination of educare and educere. I have been thoroughly trained in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and AI. I have also learned how to write academically at the doctoral level under the supervision of Dr. Gittner and Dr. Matheny in the Data Quality and Survey Methods Lab. I have solved problems and provided data-driven recommendations to companies such as @Delta, @SouthernCompany, and @BCBST. In all this, it’s been a journey of self-discovery. I’ve had several opportunities to draw out the researcher, mentor, and teacher within me. I’m grateful for my professors and mentors. I’m grateful to my wife, @Prisca_Omugbe, for your unwavering love and care through the ups and downs of my PhD journey.

Don't open a blank document and try to write from the title to the conclusion. That is usually painful. Here is a better way to get started on your first paper ① Choose the journal early ↳ The journal shapes the audience, structure, word count, and style. ↳ Do not write the full paper first and search for a journal later. ② Settle authorship early ↳ Who contributed? ↳ Who qualifies as an author? ↳ Who should be acknowledged? ↳ Resolve this before the writing becomes political. ③ Start with methods and results ↳ These sections are closest to what you actually did. ↳ They are often easier to write than the introduction or discussion. ④ Write the introduction as a problem ↳ The reader should quickly understand: → what is known → What is missing → What question does your study answer ⑤ Keep the results clean ↳ Present the findings clearly. ↳ Do not turn the results section into a discussion. ⑥ Use the discussion to explain the meaning ↳ This is where you answer: → Did the study answer the question? → How does it compare with previous work? → What are the implications? → What are the limitations? ⑦ Write the abstract last ↳ More people will read your abstract than the full paper. ↳ Do not treat it as a minor detail. —- Your first paper will probably feel harder than it should. That is normal. You are learning how to think, organize, defend, and communicate like a scholar. The goal is to make your work difficult to misunderstand. Start with the question. Build the structure. Respect the reader. Then write the first draft. Which part of writing your first paper feels hardest: starting, structuring, or submitting?
