That’s a legend in the making.
Girl learned early: actions have consequences, and “boys will be boys” doesn’t fly when you’re on the receiving end. Respect to the teacher for actually listening instead of defaulting to “sit down and be quiet.
Some lessons hit harder when you’re airborne over a desk. 💀
English

I was in seventh grade and already taller and more developed than most of the kids in my class which was already its own thing to deal with.
A boy snapped my bra strap in the middle of class.
I stood up, picked him up, threw him over the table and beat him up.
The male teacher pulled me into the hallway to discipline me for fighting and I told him what the boy had done before he could even get started.
To his credit he was genuinely appalled. Like visibly disturbed that it had happened. He went back in and the boy got in trouble.
I did not get in trouble.
I think about that teacher sometimes and the fact that he actually listened to me and responded correctly. Because that could have gone a very different way and I was already prepared to argue my case in the hallway.
But also I need people to.......

@kcwhiskey128349 @pinkheretic Because it's harming her and ending her pregnancy without consent.
English

@pinkheretic Then why is murdering a pregnant woman double homicide?
English

The part that you have to be recognised as a person before you have rights, which doesn’t happen till after birth and the part where abortion is defence. Nobody has a right to someone else’s body against their will.
Locke@LandOfTheLocke
@pinkheretic @GeigerEmilyA cute slogans. let's see if you can even begin to support them logically without running to a new point. morally, murder is the violent killing of an innocent human life with malice and forethought what part of that definition does abortion not fit?
English

@tattooleik @ToriatheistTori Just because one doesn't believe in one doesn't automatically means they believe in the other.
English

@_Goinginforlife @plot_twistttt Yes, women bleed for 7 days and endure pain, yet most still get up every morning and continue on.
Most men can't even last 5 min on level 2 pain that women work through.
English

@Gregory38084480 @plot_twistttt There is nothing powerful about a woman, yall bleed every minute and it comes with pain no other creation on the planet have that problem go sit down
English

@bdking9090 @thatsnotokay22 @Urtoez75_2 So the government is going to pay women to be chef, teacher, taxi driver, therapist, etc, etc, etc? Because living on one income is impossible these days and the "fake jobs" that women have help raise children to functional adults.
English

@thatsnotokay22 @Urtoez75_2 Female tax money doesn't count. Like HR jobs or teacher or being a social worker the easy air conditioned jobs which doesn't contribute that much to society.
These are fake jobs created by j33ws to keep women busy.
English

@VillainessEve @Urtoez75_2 They didn't say that lion pride were matriarchal, they said the females provided the food. Not sure what you mean by "cubs", whether by sex or cub rearing, 1 leads to cubs, and the other the female does.
Also she said nature, and bird and insects are part of nature.
English

@Urtoez75_2 Lion prides are not matriarchal. That's why there are multiple lionesses to one male that holds the territory. They trade sex, cubs, and hunts for protection.
Try to stick to mammal examples, as birds and reptiles are not very good examples for human behavior.
English

@SolStateSociaty @Thiohna On that note:
Why should women pay for any of that for men that hate women.
It's almost like people opinions don't matter to get support.
English

@Thiohna And let's pretend this is not true and men and women contribute the same. Why should I pay for social support or, for example, healthcare for women who see me and all men of my race or nation as unworthy and would rather go and date foreign men?
English

@ceraliza The males in the comments prove she did the right thing kicking him to the curb.

Three weeks after I gave birth, my husband asked for a DNA test.
I was still recovering, barely sleeping, still in pain when he said it like it was normal:
“I think we should do a paternity test.”
At first, I thought he was joking, He wasn’t.
Apparently his coworkers had spent months feeding him stories about men unknowingly raising children that weren’t theirs and one even commented that our son looked nothing like him.
So instead of trusting me his wife of 5 years he decided he needed “peace of mind.”
“If there’s nothing to hide, it shouldn’t matter,” he said.
That was the moment something in me broke, because I wasn’t just recovering from childbirth anymore, I was being treated like a suspect.
I didn’t even argue anymore. I just agreed to the test.
After that, everything between us went cold.
When the results came back, they confirmed what I already knew: 99.9999% probability of paternity.
He looked relieved and said, “See? Now we can move on.”
But I couldn’t.
Because the problem was never the test it was the fact that he believed strangers before he believed me.
That same week, I filed for divorce.

@ToriatheistTori @JesterOfNihilia Must be really young to never heard of Tori Spelling.
English

@JesterOfNihilia So you think the Tori is the same as tory? Reading comprehension much?
English

@WarpytheThird @Strandjunker It wasn't regularly used except in the judicial setting until much later.

English

"So help me God" is in our oath but whatever.
They were all Christians, and part of their motivation was the fact the Church of England refused to allow any deviation from them or the crown.
No, you don't choose. It's been the norm for our entire history until traitors let foreigners into our government
English

@askhaggard @Strandjunker You don't need a God to have morals. There are people that have God that don't have morals.
English

@Strandjunker Nope. Sorry. Can’t argue with history. Christian morals are what built this country and made it so amazing. God blesses those who serve him. Times are definitely changing though.
English

@WarpytheThird @Strandjunker Many of founding fathers may have been religious to a degree, and they may have mentioned a higher power, but never mentioned Christianity as the one religion.
They don't have to use the Bible, they CHOOSE to use the Bible. Except soliders, they swear oath to
Constitution.
English

@Strandjunker The Declaration of Independence,
Our lawmakers, politicians, lawyers, soldiers and judges swear on a Bible.
We were founded by Christians, where Christians could worship God how they saw fit.
Not for Muslims who hate free speech and freedom of religion, or jews who are the same.

@prochoicewoman7 @theAuntieAngie Even if the man had a say, at the end of the day, it's still up to the woman for the final decision. But grands never get a seat at the table.
English

@theAuntieAngie Why didn't "we" have a say? Because you're not the one who is pregnant! He should've worn a condom or gotten a vasectomy! Damn it sounds like she dodged a bullet! Having you for a MIL would be a fucking nightmare!
English

Literally been sick all day, my son comes in and tells me his ex-girlfriend called saying she went to DC to have an abortion.
My response? Block her and never speak to her again.
Not because of politics, because if a man can be forced to financially support a child for 18 years, he should at least have a voice before a decision is made to end that child’s life. Why didn’t we have a say?
Seems like “my body, my choice” somehow never includes the father until it’s time for child support. Now I have to fight for Fathers Rights in Abortion.
English

@RoisRight1 @Ashleydoncare He may have had a say, the decision still is left with the one that has to carry for 9 months. Also, grandparents don't get a say.
English

@EmilyCyril21947 @Badgerincrises At least they are more amusing then some.

English
