Did you use the indicator script for today?

ES attempted to rally last night but failed to reclaim the critical 6573-6580 level, instead failing at the supply 6567-6569 and that was all she wrote.

Book #3 of 2026 has arrived!
@alphatrends already changed the way I see markets with Anchored VWAP..
Now we’re leveling up into multi-timeframe structure ✍️

English

@AaronBaner That’s a great plan! Both been great additions to my plan for awhile now. Profiles more recent with some deep dive into market auction theory.
English

@PurpleCatTrades Im not sure what d or b profiles are but I think I get the logic here given the two rotations would, a reclaim of vwap/mid is likely probable. I want to expand to volume profiles but for now, il just stick to vwap and ib since im not super advanced yet.
English

3 bar stat played out. Stats give me context not entries. 3 consecutive bear bar open = probably not looking for a V recovery to the moon. Large IB? = probably not looking for a large expansion beyond. ✍️

#ES_F 3 consecutive same direction bars at open. IBL already swept, odds favor a bearish close on the day.
English

@AaronBaner Once we couldn't break back in I started dismissing the idea of a D profile, in favor of a b profile. So we could trade the edges as we built volume. I had longed the hl double bottom looking for a equal leg as the prior bull leg or vwap w/ trail

English

@PurpleCatTrades In this example here, was your narrative that we broke ibl, but couldn't reclaim lower vwap abnd, then you waited for the second rotation and once price did reclaim the band, you take longs to vwap or mid essentially
English

@AaronBaner I personally only took the 10am breakout long and logged off. But yes we were looking for rotation targets after so many failed ibh holds. It's all context and find the entry model that suits you

English

@PurpleCatTrades So in this example, we broke ib high and then rotated down to mid as we couldn't hold outside ib. Then once back at mid, you traded rotation from vwap band back up, was this your logic? And for failed auctions, reclaim of vwap band is a a great sign along with a clear pivot?
English

@AaronBaner Mon was interesting one to highlight. Longs under the lower band were unsuccesful as we're expanding. Often a filter. If I want to counter, needs to show strength above the lower band for instance

English

@PurpleCatTrades Got it, i will compare my trades to the blog for sure, amazing amount of info there, thanks. In terms of levels, do you think that purely just ib and vwap bands can work. I noticed in your trades you use the band to frame failed auctions or continuation
English

@AaronBaner Tues almost identical. Pre IB set, but you had a pdl sweep, 3 bar breakout 50% pb, hold vwap push to ibh and holding above upper band

English

@AaronBaner Weds, 3 bar breakout off vwap + ibl HL, 50% pb long ride the upper band always longing or holding long

English

@AaronBaner My favorite setup is the second leg after a breakout. Levels wise vol profile, 30s OR rotations, IB, vwap +- bands, MGI.
Something that's helped me is reviewing this daily blog and compare notes/trades.

English

@PurpleCatTrades Ok that makes sense. I really am just trying to add some more setups at the moment because I can't always catch the ib break. Are your best entries always around pivots/rotations, either pivot from ibh/ibl to mid or pivot from mid to ibh/ibl?
English

@AaronBaner If it's an aggressive opening drive like this day I shorted IB mid / rotation expecting a new lod or IBL test
English

#ES_F rotated back to IB mid after the initial sweep, rejected into a slow grind lower that triggered another IBL sweep. Higher low formed — potential trend reversal. Bulls answered with a symmetrical leg back above IB mid where the day settled. ✍️

English

#ES_F 3 consecutive same direction bars at open. IBL already swept, odds favor a bearish close on the day.

Purple Cat@PurpleCatTrades
#NQ_F 3 consecutive same direction bars at open increases the probability of breaking IB in that same direction. ✍️

English

#ES_F gap down open, ran pdl, held pdVAL.. 3bull bar breakout always in long reclaiming pdVAH. Pullback longs🤝✍️

There are areas for entering trades, areas for exiting trades, and areas for monitoring an existing trade for continuation.
You didn’t HAVE to get long at today’s low (it was a long setup for us) but pressing short was a terrible idea. Monitoring an existing short from higher? Fine. Obviously had to cover in the end.
Up here do you HAVE to be short? No. Can you REMAIN long from lower and monitor for continuation? Sure. Would I INITIATE a long up here? Hell fkn no

If you were bearish at today’s low on ES and bullish up hear near 6898-6902, you are doing it precisely wrong 🤝
