What if the west isn't the villain they told you it was? We’ve spent years accepting accusations about racism, intolerance, and slavery without challenging the bigger historical reality: The societies most condemned today are also the ones that led the world in ending slavery, expanding rights, and building the most tolerant nations on earth. That’s the conversation nobody wants to have.

Imagine you’re fleeing a dangerous situation… adrenaline pumping, hands shaking, heart racing. The kill switch IN YOUR VEHICLE decides “you’re impaired” and shuts off your vehicle. Or how about this: a husband is speeding his pregnant wife to the hospital … but his car decides he’s intoxicated, and shuts off the vehicle. These are real-world situations where a government-mandated kill switch could leave you stranded and helpless when seconds matter most. KILL. THE. KILL SWITCH.

Being a Ford has nothing to do with it. In the 70s and 80s Ford had the toughest and most reliable trucks. The old Ford 300 inline 6 engine was known for being nearly impossible to kill. Same with the Ford 9" differentials. THAT truck, however, should be a trailer queen show truck. It's the fact that he's not only taking such a ridiculously impractical show vehicle out on the street, but using it to brag/show off.

Maybe you wonder why I, a mere gun blog, makes a big deal about Flock and similar tech? OK here’s a real world situation that can easily happen and has likely happened. Unfortunately to drive on public roads without getting hassled by the cops, your car needs a license plate. That’s tied to you, the owner of the vehicle. Flock isn’t just a traffic camera, it’s an AI/ML enabled (wait for it) flock of cameras that transmit all their video and audio to the mothership. Not a government server somewhere but, to keep it simple, a big giant cloud computer instance owned and run by Flock, the company. Government users, as well as Flock employees here in the US and overseas, can log in and query the system based on license plate number or even vehicle description and get a full history of that vehicle’s movements throughout the Flock network over multiple jurisdictions. Someone in New York can track a car from Armonk all the way to Homestead FL if they feel like it from the comfort of their desk. On a daily level, someone can get a pretty accurate picture of someone’s life just by monitoring their movements via Flock. And I’m using this example to rattle the cage of the “back the blue unconditionally” crowd in 2A. OK - your car has license plate ABC 123 - and Flock knows this. Someone can enter your tag in Flock and see what you are doing on a daily basis. You leave your home where the neighborhood is under the Flock panopticon. Flock sees you drive to Dunkin’ on Main Street, then you drop your kid off at XYZ Daycare. Then you go to work at the local IT consulting firm in ZZZ industrial park. You go pick up a quick deli sandwich for lunch at Food Lion. You go back to work. On the way home you stop off at Bob’s Guns, and stay for 20 minutes while buying some ammo. Then you go home. Everywhere there’s a Flock camera. Now Flock knows the following about you: - You live at 123 Wisteria Lane - Your kid is in daycare (means he’s likely under 5) - You work at ZZZ - You go cheap on lunch - You own at least one gun Your license plate is tied to you so they now have your name and assumed-to-be-private details of your life, like that you are armed. On the reverse of that, the Flock camera outside of Bob’s Guns has been recording the plates of everyone going into the parking lot. No need for a firearms registry when Flock is doing the work. All of this is done without a warrant and the data is available to anyone with a certain level of access to the system, whether it’s a cop, or a Flock technician in the Philippines. FYI Flock uses overseas contractors for support and AI annotation. The 2018 Carpenter decision at SCOTUS ruled that pervasive surveillance where one can divine private details of someone’s life is a 4th Amendment violation in absence of a specific warrant. Flock is illegal, unconstitutional and immoral. And a danger to everyone, not just gun owners.

📍 Use the DeFlock Map We’re building a public map of ALPRs, AI surveillance cameras, drones, and connected surveillance infrastructure so communities can see what’s being installed around them. The DeFlock App works great, too! deflock.org

@jonseejon @DavidWolfe Humans as a species DO need children to survive. Humans as a species do NOT need AI to survive. In fact, there is a non-zero possibility that AI development leads to human extinction, while a lack of children WILL lead to human extinction. Your argument is terminally flawed.

Why is your mortgage rate brutal? Why are auto loans, student loans, and credit cards squeezing your family? Because Washington borrows so much that it pushes up the rates you pay. The federal addiction to debt is a tax you never voted for.

@Gabby_Hoffman The presence of a data center also has a (probably) negative impact on property values. Nobody wants their home to suddenly drop in value, especially if they're still paying on the mortgage.

American was driving a brand new 2026 car The car gave her an alert that said it couldn’t see her eyes. The car then automatically disabled the gas and slowed down enough that it could have caused an accident She had to lean toward so the car’s facial recognition could register her eyes and stop the “kill switch” because the car thought she might be asleep “It was a 6 lane highway and all of a sudden the gas stopped working and I'm pressing on the gas. I can't get the car to go. So the car is dinging, it's making all this noise and I can't figure out what's going on. And I look at the dashboard and in English it says, sit up straight. We can't find your eyes. Why? Why do you need to see my eyes? — when I sat upright, the gas would work once again. And so I pressed the gas, but I was slowing down enough that it was gonna cause a traffic hazard. And the thing is, it knew I wasn't asleep because I was pressing on the gas. So it knew I was awake. It just wanted to see my eyes. So once I set upright and leaned forward, I guess it did facial recognition. And then it says, may I send you these results to a third party” This is horrifying considering the new mandate to have kill switches in every new vehicle by 2027. It looks like it’s already happening but overseas, we’re just next This technology can and will be abused by the government

The AR-15 is semi-auto only (and contrary to gun-grabber claims, AR-15 is Armalite Rifle model 15, Armalite being the name of the company that designed it.) The M16/M4 was modified to allow full auto and/or burst fire (which it has varies between different iterations of the platform)

@QuentinMilton @F111John @AWRHawkins Modify it how? The AR-15 was designed and created specifically for the US military as a select fire rifle. The M16 and the M4 are both AR-15s. We should be allowed to own any military firearm.

A knifeman stabbed a woman to death in front of terrified bystanders in Barcelona in what authorities believe was a random street killing. A woman has been killed in a shocking knife attack in the streets of Barcelona in full view of horrified bystanders. The stabbing happened at around 11am in Esplugues de Llobregat, just a short distance from the Camp Nou stadium. Witnesses watched as the attacker struck in broad daylight. The victim, described locally as a young woman, suffered multiple stab wounds to the throat, chest and stomach. She died at the scene. A 50-year-old man who tried to intervene was also injured, sustaining wounds to his arm. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police say they are still working to determine whether the attacker knew the victim. So far, there is no evidence of any relationship between them. Investigators are focusing on the possibility that this was a random attack. The suspect — described as wearing jeans, a hoodie and carrying a large black rucksack was arrested just hours later in the nearby Les Corts area. Images of the alleged attacker holding the weapon have since circulated, adding to the shock surrounding the incident. As the investigation continues, one thing is already clear: A normal morning turned into a scene of terror and a life has been taken in the most brutal way.
