@sperrydaniel94 And in addition, with a player on his back it's not like Davis could've played it backwards and across to the other side at that point, his only options were to Shelton's feet or over the top into, which one is significantly less dangerous and didn't get picked

@sperrydaniel94 Exactly, lots of problems went wrong, but a common piece that has been going wrong is Shelton. A consistent track record of errors gets so many players in the doghouse but not Vermes' pet players

It's a small portion of what went wrong on that play.
PV pointed out in the presser that the recognition to play that pass (to Khiry) at that moment wasn't right because they didn't have numbers up on that side, but they did on the other and went away from it. #SportingKC

@sperrydaniel94 Clear and obvious shouldn't take more than 30 seconds at a monitor. They should put that in stone, the monitor and communication with VAR shut off after 30 seconds. That's plenty of time for it to be "clear and obvious"
