@BillGallo2 @RichardsonISD When I came back, I told other teachers at the New Teacher orientation that it was my 10th year of teaching and my 9th year in RISD. The only reason I left was to relocate to the coast. That was short lived and I came right back home!!! #risdBELIEVES

Were you the “good kid” who “parents never had to worry about”? Watch out for those kids. They may turn up in therapy 10-20 years later with repressed emotions, overfunctioning, and the inability to ask for help because they’ve always had to be perfect.

@DoctorCamden I check on people pleasers at school and reassure them that they don’t need to be perfect and that having things go sideways happens to all of us. They should know their world is not spiraling out of control when that happens and they can call me or a trusted mentor any time.

Had a great voter registration event today! Told the students that even if they think they won’t be voting they should keep the door open in case they change their mind! We are proud to say that 10 students registered today! #risdvoteready #risdbelieves @AnneMarieYarb @RISDTnLSS
