WOW Yesterday CTV and CBC ran wall to wall coverage claiming Russia and the US were interfering in the Alberta separatist movement. Today the Globe and Mail reported: The RCMP deputy commissioner told Alberta’s Public Safety Minister there is NO credible evidence of foreign interference in the Alberta separatist movement. ZERO. None The RCMP’s own words. The study CTV and CBC cited? Produced by “DisinfoWatch” and “academic researchers.” Not CSIS. Not the RCMP Not any law enforcement agency This is the same CTV that called my verified content “Deception Decoded.” The same CTV taking millions in government subsidies A study nobody can verify Cited as fact, to discredit 301,000 Albertans who signed a petition. This is why people lose trust in MSM. CTV & CBC are cut from the same cloth.

Not a single country in the world cares if Canada is shipping "decrabonized oil" to them. Eastern Canada doesn't even import decrabonized oil and no one cares. The world just wants more of our oil but we are holding our ability and economic development to an ideological position. Canada's worst enemy will always be Canada.

I await Governor General Mary Simon's condolence video in French. Why do the Liberals hold the CEO of Air Canada to a higher standard of bilingualism than their own appointee as Governor General, who hasn't learned French after four years in the role? TBH, I would rather have the CEO of our flagship carrier focusing his scarce time on safety and reliability than language training.
Tristin Hopper@TristinHopper

Air Canada has gone 43 (!) years without a fatal incident. My entire life up to this point has been lived in a country where the flag carrier never got a single person killed in a crash. The record is a totem to what serious people can accomplish. So naturally, Mark Carney is screaming at them to instead focus on nonsense.

The fact that Leftists had to wait until Chuck Norris was dead before they started their campaign of defamation is itself a Chuck Norris joke.

Canadian media is losing the plot on basic journalistic ethics and this BC/Texas story is a perfect example. The media isn't just 'softening' the facts, they’re actively reconstructing a narrative. Their ledes implies a random, unjust ICE detention. But the actual facts are again, buried or glossed over are sctually what matter. Here they are: • Her application was already denied • She had overstayed her legal status • Her spouse is a registered sex offender Those are not side notes. These are determinative under U.S. immigration law. But instead, BC/Canadian media like #CBCVancouver or #GlobalBC get a sympathy-first frame that suggests enforcement is arbitrary or cruel. It’s not. Western, Asian and UAE Immigration systems like the US explicitly assess admissibility, including associations with serious criminality. That’s standard practice across jurisdictions, not some rogue decision, and while Canada does not seem to practice it and actually coddles r@pists, child predators and other criminals, and have at time reduced sentences to make it easier for criminal applicants, it is not standard and politics entering our judicial system. What’s worse is how often Canadian outlets get this wrong. Either the #media don’t understand #immigration law, or they do and just choose to omit it to fit a political narrative. Neither should be tolerated. Journalism isn’t activism. And it’s certainly not selectively editing reality to manufacture outrage for political purposes. And how media doesn't see their involvement as potentially dangerous I don't understand. #bcpoli

If Carney was doing literally any of the things Boomers think he's doing, I would sleep better at night. But he's not. He's not fixing immigration. He's not fixing crime. He's definitely not "unleashing" the economy. It's just going to take more pain for people to notice.
Tristin Hopper@TristinHopper

1. Canadians know things are worse. 2. The worse things are not improving. 3. They won't improve, because leadership is actively avoiding the things that would fix them. Keep your eyes on the prize. It's disheartening to see so many Canadians suffer a psychotic break, but where we are is not sustainable.
