@tranhelen Oh and all tech salaries seem to be at best 50% of US but mostly seem to be the 30% - 40% range. As far as I can tell a Mid level designer makes more in the SF than a head of design in London, unless you are in Big Tech or Banking.

@tranhelen London feels the same, house average is pulled down to 'only' £550k because of the how sprawling 'Greater London' is, the avg for the actual city part is £1M+.

US pop is 330M, UK pop is 67M. 330M/ 67M = 4.9 So 4.9*270 = 1323 So if the UK had the same population as US in 2020 there would have been only 30% more knife deaths in the US, congrats
